that she was hired to be an assistant to the CEO, in this case, Madison. A good executive assistant doesn’t need a college degree. She is exactly what was stated….a personal assistant to Madison. Sami did hold down several important positions, i.e., she was a "personal" assistant to Austin (forget name of their company), she worked at Mystic for E.J., where she did very well and impressed clients, which impressed E.J., and I’m not sure, but did she work for Basic Black at one time? All I’m saying is she has the skills and once she learns what is expected of her, she’ll probably be really good at it, unless, of course, someone (Kate, for instance) sandbags her and causes her problems that will affect her job. Personally,I think it’s marvelous that they are now writing Sami as a qualified working mother, yet still, in every way, a caring, loving wife. I like her more and more every day.
