to Adrienne and this, “I’ve got to protect my son” crap. Seems to me if she’s successful protecting him, she is, in the eternal words of Days’ writers, going to ‘lose him forever.’ Isn’t that what we just saw John do? And look how THAT turned out.

I can’t figure out why they think all these parents have to be so gol-durned obsessed with protecting adult children. Good grief, don’t they think they’re old enough to make their own decisions? Especially in the case of Sonny when he has flat out told his mother he doesn’t want or need her protection.

Sigh…oh dear…

BUT, if it wasn’t for her going to the police, Sami would still be walking around acting like she is the queen of the Dimera Monarch. Didn’t she make a remark yesterday(Monday, 22nd) that she wasn’t getting any attention?  The celebration was for the school and Eric, not to discuss the wedding.   I was thrilled when she got arrested!!!!

meddling, obnoxious, super-crazed mothers intent on controlling and possibly ruining their kids’ lives — and Judi is too good for this. They should have given this role to someone else, like Kristen or Kate or some intentionally villainous character rather than to Adrienne. I despise her in this ridiculous quest of hers. Yes, she did what she thought was right, but now all she will have is her own hand to pat her on the back, because no one is going to accept what she did. Hope her and her conscience live happily ever after.

 Judi made a comment about how getting hate mail is a sure sign you are doing a great acting job!!

As for why she did it, I would guess her hatred of Sammy is far greater than her concern for Sonny. She has been against Sonny and Will since the beginning. Unfortunately, it will end up hurting her relationship wit her family for a long time.
