    –  When Stefano said to Hope "we do this every few months.  You remind me that I’m bad – you tell me that you’re good.  It’s predictable and boring."  That’s how we feel about this SL Joe LOL.  And when he called Hope a bitch and a drama queen I chuckled.  I like seeing him in scenes WITH LINES!!!  Is that it for Stefano?  Two bullets we saw were on his right side – and even though we saw blood for both and one went thru – he could be okay.  Where did the 3rd bullet hit tho?

    –  Little Parker looks nothing like Daniel or Chloe LOL

    –  Again, why is Laney on the show (or whatever her name is?!)   She is almost as bad as Ciara (speaking of – those teen scenes at Club TBD were painful to watch.  Makes me yearn for the Last Blast crew LOL)

    –  If Days did powerful stories WELL I would love to see Maggie go back to being an alocholic as a result of Daniel’s death.  But DOOL wouldn’t do that SL well so I’d rather not see it.

It’s funny that someone pointed out how all the decorations were down HOWEVER they had Kayla (on Thursday) come home holding her dress and shoes from NYE.  Nice attention to detail vs. the decorations.  Go figure – sometimes they get it right and sometimes not so much.

Hey Patti – since they usually renew by year what would it mean if it got cancelled?  They tape so far out – so let’s say we do NOT get picked up when would it end being on the air vs. where they are filmed up to?  I know it’s pretty far ahead so how would that play out?  I know last year it got renewed in July of 2015 to put it on air through this year.  I sometimes wonder if all these deaths are a way to tie the show up OR piss people off to turn it off.  Who knows.  But wasn’t NBC very ANTI daytime for the longest?

and what I found was that it was renewed through September 2016 the last time around.

at least she was yesterday, but it was still the morning after and she hadn’t left so I can understand.  I just hope Days isn’t turning this into another loooooong day like they did before.

agree about Parker, he looks like Nicole and Phillip. (Please don’t change his paternity)

and I think Laney is there for a triangle with Hope & Rafe? I don’t know, but that’s what it seems like. So far it’s not for Abe or Theo, who is great!!

a triangle Hope/Rafe/Lani. Lani wouldn’t even make the grade IMO. I have zero interest in this character.

so right now they should be taping what will presumably be shown at least through the summer of this year.  I think the DOOL actual renewal contract runs through September, so we’ll just have to wait (and hope) that the show is picked up for at least another year anyway.  I believe it will be, since the Meredith Vieira show was recently canceled, and I don’t see NBC putting another talk show or cooking show in that time slot due to recent failures, and God knows we don’t need another hour of The Today Show being added onto that time slot (who needs 5 hours of The Today Show) so I’m hoping that’s a good sign that DOOL will be renewed.

That when it does get taken away from us they give them ample time to tie it up.  I mean it’s hard to "tie up" a soap but you know what I mean….

Sometimes I’m torn – it’s been up and down these past few months (the big 50th was kind of a snooze.)  This current state is kind of a snooze.  The only interesting thing of recent was Ben and we got short changed with that exit SL.

I’ll go down with the ship but there are times where it seems like a chore to watch – but I watch anyway.  I would be so sad to see it go but a part of me would feel a bit relieved (sometimes a 5x a week show is like having a PT job LOL)

Even when the show has been a big sleeping pill, I’ve kept watching in hopes of improvement.  (We know they can write good dialogue if they put their minds to it rather than be lazy.)  Working FT and having outside activities means I sometimes don’t watch until late at night.  I’ve been watching for so many years I feel somewhat duty bound to keep doing so.  And of course I love watching Ari, Ali (when she’s on), Lauren and others.

When Another World ended, they did a nice job. But if you think of it, life in Salem should go on even if we the fans can no longer watch!!

How do you tie up the families? They get married, move away, the town is destroyed by an earhtquake or the hospital gets torn down (like ST. Elsewhere)? I would hope that Nicole gets her happily ever after maybe with Brady, Victor retires and goes to Greece with Maggie, Doc and John sail off with Doug and Julie, the kids all go away to college to separate schools, don’t know.

I still watch faithfully and will continue until the end.
