Just read on Daytime Royalty that Frances Reid has died. If this is correct, my sympathy to all her family and many fans and friends. Rest in peace, "Mrs. H".

I heard it from Nancy Lewis, a dear friend of mine who worked at Days for many years. She sent me a note overnight – it’s 5:46 AM and I just saw it.
Very sad – but she had a very long life, and one would think, a good one.
Thoughts and prayers for Ms. Reid’s friends and family.

It’ll be interesting to see how they write it into the show. And I hope they will finally do a fitting tribute to her. Although it certainly comes too soon after the "death" of Mickey. She WAS Days of our Lives.

February 4, 2010 at 12:48 pm #10235DebbiParticipantI feel like my Grandmother just died. I really hope that Days gives her the passing she deserves. My thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family as well as all the cast and crew members who have worked and loved her for all these years.

I am so glad she had a good, long life and was loved by so many of us fans. Francis was the grandma I always wanted to know in my life.
