I haven’t watched for weeks, but wanted to see everyone dressed up for New Year’s Eve. I feel so bad for Will. I also love Doug and Julie, but unfortunately, Julie seems to be singing a little off-key these days. Still love seeing how much in love they are.

Grandma Marlena is the perfect person for Will to turn too also and I was crying right with him at the end of the show. He is doing great in this roll. I don’t care if Julie is off key as Doug and Julie were the super couple for me way beck in the day !! The show is enjoyable to watch for most part now a days.

I didn’t know how long we’d have to wait and if they’d drag this out, but they didn’t. I cannot say enough great things about Chandler Massey. He is doing such a fabulous job with this role. I have ached for Will through this whole ordeal. I hope he is nominated for an Emmy because I don’t know many young actors who could pull this off and have so many fans wanting to see more of the storyline. I hope Monday’s show isn’t going to just jump to New Year’s day without a continuation of New Year’s Eve. The Friday episode made me want to see more.

January 1, 2012 at 2:18 am #30073majencoParticipantYeah I noticed Julie was off but it was still cute. They should have lowered her mic.
January 1, 2012 at 4:33 am #30074bluebonnetParticipantThey should have let Doug’s mike be louder than Julie’s! That reminds me of that old Andy Griffith episode in which Barney wants to sing with the choir, but he is just awful and can’t carry a tune. They don’t know what to do about it until Andy comes up with the bright idea of turning Barney’s mike completely off, and telling him that he has to sing extremely quietly because his mike is so sensitive. A guy off stage really sings, but everyone thinks it is Barney singing–including Barney. Barney is so proud of himself because he thinks he is the one singing with such a good voice.

January 2, 2012 at 2:51 pm #30084BonbonParticipantreturned from seeing Stefano. You could see the agony in Marlena’s face and the sheer relief when John said he was sorry. Just a small scene but so well done.
Also, a little relief from J&M’s so often syrupy-sweet scenes. It’s nice to see they can fight also. And they make up so well.
January 2, 2012 at 5:47 pm #30100PattiParticipantbut most especially the scenes between John and Marlena, Will and Marlena, and John and Stefano. They were all brilliantly acted and extremely heart-felt. I, too, loved that little ‘make-up’ scene between John and Marlena when he returned from Stefano’s. I am absolutely loving J&M this time around, more than I can say.
