When she walked into DeMansion yesterday questioning Stefano’s hidden agenda and Kate tried to dismiss her, I absolutely loved that Lexi didn’t even take her eyes off of her father and screamed "SHUT UP KATE." Loved, loved, loved it. Kate needs Lexi to give her a fresh one every now and then, since she thinks she’s the new queen of the night in Stefano’s life. Actually, she needs it from more than Lexi; I sure would like to see Chloe belt her before she leaves Salem. Renee Jones is not only beautiful, she’s really a good actress when given a good script. Now is the time, writers. Let’s give Lexi more to do than wander around the hospital doing practically nothing. I need her in this Kiriakis/Dimera war story, no matter whose side she might be on. She could be a powerful asset to the storyline, IMO.
August 13, 2011 at 2:28 pm #25814mommytutuParticipantShe is so underused. To me she’s almost always just a prop for other characters. I loved her scenes with Stefano because she was in control of the scene. Stefano had to take it from her and Kate had to stay the hell out of it. I’d like to see Lexi in better situations because at the hospital, she drives me crazy.
August 13, 2011 at 3:05 pm #25817MoGirlParticipantI would even love to see her mom Celeste back on the show and maybe they could come up with a story for them both.
August 13, 2011 at 3:22 pm #2581853tdogsParticipantto watch, and that style of hers was so off the charts but classy. I’d love for Lexie to have more of a part, since she was head of the hospital deptartment, you’d think that they (writers) could come up with more SL’s for her, heck, even being Stefano’s daughter and the Mayor’s wife, there should be tons to write for her, not the same ol’ same drival that they normally give her.
August 13, 2011 at 3:54 pm #25821BonbonParticipantI don’t agree with you guys. Although I’ll agree that Lexie is an excellent actress, they have just never written anything for her that held my interest. I don’t know why, just don’t care for either her nor Abe. Although I always enjoy Theo’s scenes and I guess we can’t have him without his parents. No, I’m happy with Lexie just as we now see her.
August 13, 2011 at 9:27 pm #25833caseyParticipantbut then we’ve only seen Lexie either in cheating storylines or being an overbearing mom to an autistic child. With the oldies returning I wouldn’t look to see Lexie promoted to a front burner story anytime soon.
August 14, 2011 at 12:30 am #25844powerpaw2ParticipantRenee is a talented, beautiful woman. I swear it seems like she hasn’t aged a bit over the years. Anyway, I agree with Mommytutu that Renee is underused.
August 15, 2011 at 7:43 pm #25884DPParticipantI think Renee is an amazing actress and is very under-utilized. She does deserve a strong story line and I would love it to include standing up to Stefano and holding him accountable for his actions. Surely, as the daughter of the resident bad-guy and the wife of the mayor, she should experience a turmoil and tug-of-war that could be written in to the existing story lines. Why isn’t she advising Chad (like EJ tried to)?
By the way, Renee is absolutely beautiful, doesn’t seem to need a stitch of make-up and I agree with powerpaw2, it looks like she hasn’t aged at all!!
August 15, 2011 at 11:23 pm #25890majencoParticipantI think she is easily one of the most beautiful women on the show. I really wish they would give her something to sink her teeth into. It’s been years since she has been anything more than a prop for advancing the storyline.
