I don’t see how anybody can tolerate her. She is obnoxious, despicable and a huge pest. I wish she would leave town and never come back.
April 24, 2015 at 12:10 pm #47109mommytutuParticipantMost people like Nicole, I personally just wish the writers would give her something worth watching. She’s a great actress, we just have to see her doing the same thing over and over.
April 24, 2015 at 1:20 pm #47110caseyParticipantShadow I do agree with you that the way she is being written is inane. She’s always barging in on Daniel when he is clearly annoyed with it, and being on shaky ground as it is she should be more aware of her behavior. She is always strutting off in a huff when Dan doesn’t appreciate her impulsiveness. In other words, she will lose any chance for sure. I don’t see anything in Daniel that he deeply cares for her and I believe Nicole is still hung up on Eric.
Let Nicole’s child be found alive and get her off the bouncing between men wheel.April 24, 2015 at 2:11 pm #47111justwonderingParticipantYes, Nicole can be a pest, but Daniel is hypocritical. He is constantly looking at Nicole under a microscope, talking about her feelings for Eric and her constant spats with Serena. However, he will run at a moments notice when Jennifer or JJ "needs" him.
In my opinion, it is much the same. He does the very thing he gets annoyed at Nicole for. The ironic part is Nicole is spot on when it comes to Serena. I sometimes feel that Serena is ao hostile to Nicole because she knows that Nicole is the one person who sees through her and her motives.
I really wish that Nicole would tell them all to go to he!! and concentrate on her career. THen when tings fall apart, eh can tell them, "i TOLD YOU SO"
April 24, 2015 at 2:25 pm #47112PattiParticipantshe can’t keep her foot out of her mouth long enough to convince anyone (not just Daniel) to listen to her. Yes, Daniel is playing the "do as I say, not as I do" game with Nicole, and I was happy to see her walk out on him yesterday. I can see both sides of the coin here. I just love Ari Zucker, but Nicole is and always will be her own worst enemy, particularly when it comes to love. As for Daniel, he is still so hung up on Jen, it’s pathetic. They seem to both be using JJ and his problems as an "excuse" to be together, now that Jennifer has once again gone back to Daniel for his input into the situation. What happened to her "stay away from me and from my children, and stay out of our lives?" Wasn’t that just the road she took in their last meeting? I am sick to death of what is supposed to be perceived as romance on this show. When I look at couples on DOOL today, I have to wonder why anyone looks forward to a coupling, whether it be their favorite or not. It has been many years since they have portrayed love and romance on DAYS, and I’m hoping that at least Josh Griffith can change things now that he is one of the new writers in place, because honestly I don’t have much faith in a writer who was previously fired and then rehired (Deana Higley), but I know fans are really getting fed up with the writing and the sls for DOOL, and believe me, it shows in the ratings. Makes me wonder what/if there is a reason to hope for the show to be picked up once we get past the 50th anniversary. Oh well, I’ll probably go down with the ship. LOL!
April 24, 2015 at 10:33 pm #47113caseyParticipantis fun and entertainment. I remember Melissa performing ballet (was it during the Emilio days?), Brady and Chloe singing duets, Hope skating, Belle and Sean at high school events, John and Marlena doing a 50s date. These days it’s all so bland and serious and no one goes anywhere outside of home, the hospital or restaurants.
What is also a problem is musical chair couples. Recycling the very limited genepool in Salem. I’d like to see a character brought in now and then for a fresh romance. Someone with more sparkle than Ben or his sister.
And how bout those weirdo SLs like the Salem stalker or psycho on the loose. I always enjoyed those because it involved the whole cast.April 25, 2015 at 2:23 am #47114dvalParticipantLike Gene and Calliope. Remember Howie and what he did to help Bo save Hope from her wedding to Larry Welch? Hysterical. No fun at all in Salem it is all crazy stolen fetuses and diamonds nobody cares about.
April 25, 2015 at 3:33 pm #47115lynnekarenParticipantYou’ve summed it up perfectly.
April 25, 2015 at 3:34 pm #47116lynnekarenParticipantwho do you like on the show? Who are your favorites? Yes, the writing is terrible, has been for ages. But is there anyone you could get behind with better stories?
April 25, 2015 at 6:46 pm #47117shadowParticipantThat would be very hard because the current writers can’t seem to know how to write good scripts. They never write decent story lines, they are consumed with couples having sex, over and over.
That’s why I can’t pick a good favorite. There’s hardly any of these that I care for. Maggie has been my favorite through the years. Hope has been a good one for a very long time. I am anxious for Kayla and Steve to get on board. I really liked them.
There are so many of these that are not likeable because of the way the scripts are written.
The good ole days just aren’t like they used to be. Tom and Alice Horton were the most loveable people. They would be rolling over their grave, if they knew how everything has turned sour.
Sorry I couldn’t come up with any favorites
