It kept my attention and even though the Sami/Rafe search for one another was a bit contrived, I enjoyed seeing them connect. And more so, EJ’s reaction. Of course, that won’t stop him!
October 5, 2012 at 1:23 am #35732PattiParticipantI can’t believe Chad just stood there letting E.J. scream in his face like that. I couldn’t be happier that Sami and Rafe are back together, but even more-so because she finally discovered the truth and let Chad know exactly what E.J. was doing and why. When he overacts the way he did today with that excessive macho behavior, I could just laugh in his face. He may not pay for his crimes, but what happened to him today was almost as good a pay-back, IMO.
October 5, 2012 at 3:58 am #35736shadowParticipantThis is the day I have not wanted to see happen. Sami and Rafe were too stupid to believe. Just hours earlier Rafe was saying that he could never trust Sami again. He has lost the brain I thought he had. Sami doesn’t have a brain to lose. The writers have pushed and pushed them together and I am sick of it. Since Sami has to be front and center everyday, I’m suprised she doesn’t have her own show. She thinks she is priceless.
I’m fed up with the way things are going. If I was a betting person, I would wager how long it will take for Sami to mess up and hurt Rafe again.
October 5, 2012 at 9:02 am #35738BonbonParticipantBlah, blah, blah, blah, blah… Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
I could hardly pay attention to Maggie and Jen they were so boring. It seems all these writers are giving us are scenerios where two characters are just jawing together, either consoling or giving advice. In fact, I can’t think of a single scene that entailed anything else. Think about it. Okay, there was one, Sami/EJ/Chad in the hallway.
Although I’m happy to see Sami and Rafe reunite, I think it was a little sudden and I thought the way they did it was rather trite and very cheesy. Kind of like they were trying to duplicate the scene of Marlena and John reuniting on the dock.
October 5, 2012 at 12:37 pm #35743caseyParticipantin that scene – my favorite Days moment ever. I guess I was in the minority about yesterday – I just felt the show had a bit more life to it than we’ve been seeing. But I do agree, Maggie’s scenes w/just about everyone can get a bit wordy and righteous.
October 5, 2012 at 1:13 pm #35744luckeyParticipantin his face. He hit the nail on the head when he told him he was just like Stefano with his lying, cheating and manipulations for his selfishness. I was afraid that Chad was just going to stand there and let EJ have his verbal tirade and then cower like he usually does.
October 5, 2012 at 2:30 pm #35746PattiParticipantNot so much —- Nicole …. despise her right now. Her manipulation and deceit are overbearing, baby or no baby. If that kid dies, it will be because of Nicole’s burdening of that child with all the stress she puts on it inside the womb. What a horrible nut job she’s turned into.
I like Sami and Rafe reuniting, and loved the way they did it. Always love happy endings — at least this week anyway.
So sick of E.J. DiMera’s bullying and OTT actions. Chad was wrong, though …. E.J. can’t make a pimple on Stefano’s big ole’ butt!
Maggie and Victor have become a snooze festival … totally boring;
Jennifer needs to pay more attention to what Abbey’s going through right now and let Daniel make his own mistakes. I do think Maggie was right in telling Jen to stop hurting Daniel, though. Every time I see Jennifer worrying about Daniel and using the loss of his career as her excuse to worry, I could just slap her. Jennifer Rose is another character who is being destroyed by bad writing. I almost wish she would leave Salem, but Abbey stays.
I hope Chad is the DiMera who helps take down Stefano and E.J., or else we are just going to keep repeating the same stories for this disgusting family. Oh well, maybe Kristen will be the one to light the fire with these writers. I certainly hope so; otherwise, Y&R has lost a wonderful actress, taken from them by SONY and placed with a show that is not too successful right now …. but then neither are the other soaps.
I am concerned for Bo’s exit story line. His last air date is the last week in October, which is like 3 weeks from now; so, how much of an exit story line are they going to provide for a deserving, loved vet like Peter Reckell.
Finally, I am enjoying Nick and Gabi; however, I don’t think Gabi should have gotten away with what she did. She may not have been responsible for Andrew going all psycho on Melanie, but she did know what he was doing, and why he did it, and didn’t come forward, resulting in the DAYSaster. Too bad someone didn’t think of recovering Andrew’s cell phone, proving that Gabi knew what Andrew did and then conspired with him to keep Mel under lock and key. Another lost potential story line there. Gabi and Nick do make a cute couple, though.
