tons of soapy goodness. Sweeps start next week, and I think they’re going to be great! Nicole and Eric scenes were terrific yesterday and, although I felt sorry for Nicole, I can’t completely blame Eric for believing she’s lying. Actually, he presented a much greater argument than Nikki, IMO. I’m hoping that damn flash drive is exposed at Brady and Kristen’s wedding. Then Eric will (or should) have a lot of apologies and butt-kissing to do when the truth comes out … at least as far as Nicole is concerned. Will this cause him to leave the priesthood, though? I for one hope not, but Nicole needs to move on with her life afterward and give up on her love of the good Father. I just cannot see a priest, especially one so devoted to his vocation as Eric, to just dismiss his love for God and the church and simply fall back in love with a woman again, even though I know it does happen in this world. Again, so much soapy drama yesterday — AZ and GV rocked those scenes. I want what’s best for both of them. Unfortunately, I do not agree with many who believe they should be together.
I agree, I don’t want anything romantic to happen between them. I like them as friends and I like Eric as a priest. I just can’t see him completely giving that up without living with extreme guilt and self-loathing. Even in the "fantasy" scenes of them in bed together, it just seems wrong and forced.
Their scenes were fantastic and I can’t wait to watch Nicole put the puzzle pieces together. MAN, is Kristen going to get hers! And MAN, is Brady going to eat crow. Again!!
find their way back together? Eventually… After repairing their friendship and being there for each other when this all comes out. Not jump into bed right away. But I’d like for them both to be happy, finally!
I really want Eric to stay a priest. Of course, he might think about leaving and maybe even start the procedure. But then he realizes that his true calling is service to God. He could even consider being with Nicole, but never go through with it. Then after some time Nicole and Brady can realize they belong together.
