I loved Sami’s green top from Friday’s episode. The color really showed off her eyes, which seem to change color depending on what she wears (Nicole’s do that, too). And, remember the green top that Gabi had on the other day when she was discovered in Andrew’s house? It was a green see-through top with a lime/yellow tank underneath. Anyway, I saw the exact top at Target this weekend! Who knew the wardrobe dept shopped there?
Sami’s eyes. They are an incredible color and many things/colors she wears just make them POP!
I’m not surprised at seeing wardrobe items at various stores though because through the years I’ve seen things exactly like one’s I owned, especially on Marlena. I don’t think they usually buy very expensive items for the cast.
That being said, I’m glad to see this "gala" coming up because I love seeing them all dressed up in formal wear. They always look so great. I think they probably DO spend a lot on them…EXCEPT for that horrible yellow wedding dress Marlena once got married in.
where Sami’s are sky blue, Nicole’s are sort of a gray-blue. Not only their eyes, but both have beautiful smiles that light up their faces, especially when they are in a close-up. As a matter of fact, it has always been my belief that DOOL has the most gorgeous women in soaps.
I know both wear glasses and probably contacts so I’m wondering how much they add to the depth of the color.
Speaking of colors, I think Sami looks better in that pink jacket than the green shirt she had on yesterday. Oh I had to tape half of days, so I can FF thru the crap of Carrie and rafe, Im catching the final end of their conversation.
She looks great in that pink jacket. But I’m not so sure it’s the jacket as much as it is her make-up. The pink lipstick and the eyeshadow she wore today were very flattering on her. But, like Patti says, she is one beautiful girl (woman).

most of 2012, and even when her and Rafe were together, she dressed down waaay too much. A couple of times I think she even wore Rafe’s shirts …. you know, those ugly plaid ones, with the sweatpants and fluffy bedroom slippers. I was so happy to see her in some decent clothes as soon as she got the job with Madison and subsequently with Countess W. Ali’s very petite, yet very well built, so those frumpy clothes back then did nothing for her. Also glad to see she got rid of those horrible bangs.
She dressed like a stay at home mom, that she was. It was very realistic, even though it wasn’t flattering.
I agree lynnkaren. I like when the actors dress "down" and casual cause we are not always dressed up in real life. Especailly if she is at home chilling. People complained that Chloe always looked like she was dressed like a fashion plate when she was at home.
Now that Sami is working, I do expect her to dress more. Love the bright colors on Sami. She is very pretty. But I like that she can look great even without makeup.
It was many, many years before we ever saw any of the characters even wearing jeans so it was rather refreshing when we started seeing some realistic attire on the show and the moms not looking like June Cleaver all the time. I didn’t have any problem with what Sami wore when she was at home. But I do enjoy seeing her in her "work" clothing. Most of it is very attractive.
I mentioned before I was looking forward to the gala because I loved seeing all the characters dressed up in their formal wear, but, according to the preview they showed us, they are not going to be that formal, just cocktail type dresses. I guess they can’t afford to fancy stuff anymore. Too bad. <phooey>
