I’m a faithful viewer and Friday night was a repeat instead of a new show as described. Was that because of what was happening in Boston?
April 21, 2013 at 8:19 pm #39377BonbonParticipantIt was all solid news coverage. Maybe they just did a rerun in the other time zones.
April 23, 2013 at 1:07 am #39385annieoParticipantAs "Grimm" fans here in Portland on the West Coast noticed, the new episode that was scheduled to air last night was bumped, and a rerun aired instead. The reason: NBC’s coverage of news coming out of Boston pre-empted "Grimm" on East Coast time. When that happens, the scheduled show can’t air on the West Coast, either.
Which means that last night, viewers saw a rerun, instead of "Ring of Fire," the new episode that was supposed to air. With last week’s planned rerun, that’s two reruns in a row. Obviously, major news events will pre-empt entertainment programs, but this also means "Grimm" fans will be especially eager to see a new outing.
For some reason I can’t get the rest of the article to post, but what is says is, as of April 30, Grimm is being moved to Tuesdays at 10 pm, pre-empting some other show.

April 23, 2013 at 6:16 am #39394BonbonParticipantThey’ll show a couple of new ones, then a couple of reruns, then they’ll change days and just keep screwing things up.
I really like Red Widow and it hasn’t even been on for a couple of weeks now. By then you forget what has happened. Whatever happened to the good ol’ days when they’d have a weekly show on for 36 weeks then have a summer replacement? Now we’re lucky we get eight shows a season and they are spread out over several months. Bah!
The way things are now you never know what’s going to be on when? You used to know like every Sunday night at 8:00, The Ed Sullivan Show was on…always.
April 23, 2013 at 6:17 pm #39405DeeLanParticipantYes, I agree. I miss the days you could sit down every week for the fall/winter/spring months and know what you were going to watch and know it was going to be a new show. Now they do 1/2 seasons then another show fills in for a few weeks then it’s back to the original show.
So many good shows are getting canceled because ratings are down BECAUSE NOBODY KNOWS WHEN IT’S ON. Or in the case of Jericho when it was on. They had several episodes, got people involved then went on break and by the time it came back the viewers had found something else to watch in that time slot and were now invested in that. The networks forget it’s out of site, out of mind.
As far as Grimm on Friday. I live in Alabama and it wasn’t on here.
