Looks like Will Horton will be the next victim of the serial killer. I had a feeling it was going to be Will, but hoping it would be Clyde. Again, see serialscoop.com for the announcement, plus it’s all over the boards already. Wonder why they want everyone to know this far ahead. I like the way the show is cleaning up these storylines, though, so I’m not complaining. As for Guy Wilson, I’m sure he’s a very nice young man, but he was never truly accepted as Will Horton. I will not miss him in the role, but am surprised that they are killing off such an iconic character, or I should say offspring of two iconic characters. I’m sure this brings Sami and Sonny back to Salem. For how long, I don’t know, but this should be pretty a huge murder. Think of all the lives that will be affected by Will’s death. Will’s death will affect more than just the Brady family. And poor little Ari will lose both her daddies because Sonny is just returning for a very short time and then gone for good. There is some rumor about a recast for Sonny down the line though. Gabi will be released from prison just in time. I also read that Gabi will return for a least a year now. Getting pretty exciting, don’tcha think?
sorry for Sami since now she will have lost two children. I do hate to lose the character of Will. I just keep thinking about how great Chandler Massey was in that role! And you have a point about how the show is releasing spoilers more often now–just like the show used to do.

They are released by Michael Goldberg, who hosts and writes for SerialScoop.com., and it seems as though once they are released on SerialScoop.com, they spread like wildfire. I just saw Guy’s picture and the story of him being out at DOOL on Facebook.
I also can’t help but feel sorry for Marlena, as well as Lucas, Kate, Roman, Sonny, Gabi, and many others who will undoubtedly be affected by Will’s death.
Will was born in 1995 and has been on screen the majority of that time. I hate that the show has spent 20 years developing a character just to kill them off.
I’m so sad the character of Will is being killed, however, not sad to see the actor go. The story for "Will" was really written badly and that didn’t help either. I’m sad Sami will lose another child too.
Curious to see if Will’s death does make ripples throughout Salem, because so far, Serena and Paige were barely acknowledged. And that’s bothering me.
I feel badly that they are killing him also. There are so many ways they could have handled his departure.
I do agree, Patti, that fans never accepted Guy as Will. That was not really his fault, as Chandler chose to leave the role. Of course, Guy is not the caliber of Chandler, but I think it would have been hard for anyone to replace Chandler and be accepted by the fans!!
It is also sad because DOOL had a groundbreaking story with Will coing out and the first gay marriage. It seems that this is also the end of gay characters on the soap.
Finally, Caroline will also be very affected with the passing of her great grandson.
I almost wish they didn’t leak so so much because it really takes the surprise out of it. However it is impossible to not hear about the leaks as they are all over social media and hard to miss!!
I saw that link – looks like that is EXACTLY why Sami comes back and why it’s likely Sonny will as well. Poor Ari – I guess hurry home Gabby huh? LOL
I am shocked to kill the kid of two legacy characters – it’s not like Sami (and even Lucas) were blips on the show. I mean – in theory you could have had him beaten into a coma and put his ass right next to Jan Spears. I hated Guy as Will from day 1 – but killing Will is a bit of a stretch IMO. You still could have gotten Sami and Sonny back for the same reason – w/less drastic measures. JMO
I’m mixed about (us) the audience findning out who the killer is next week – seems a bit premature. Unless it’s a ruse. I dunno… It’s nice to be in on it but then it’s cool to be shocked. But whatevs – the show is GOOD again and on it’s way to being great. Not complaining.

I have never liked Guy Wilson’s portrayal of Will, so good bye and good riddance. It will definitely be interesting to see how this death will effect so many Salemites.
they shock us with something that hasn’t already been released as a spoiler. As much as I hate reading them, I don’t have the will power not to. I think back to the days before the Internet when a shocker was truly a shocker. I’d be on the phone to mom immediately hashing it over. In fact, after she died, that was one of the things I missed most, not being able to talk about Days with her.
and stay with the show, but she claims she has too many other projects going on for now. I know we’re in the minority, TFlo1018, but I so so do miss my Sami and E.J. Oh, well, hopefully, one day…..
I think I will really enjoy that episode. I will be remembering all the dirty deeds Will pulled off and all the lies he’s told and all the people he’s hurt, and I’ll be singing ♫ ♪ ♫ Karma, Karma, Karma…♫ ♪

U and me both. You never LOVED to hate his character – ya just hated him. He should have been well received as a maniuplator considering who is mom is – but alas, there’s only one Sami!!!
Will played by Chandler was so likeable – Will played by Guy resulted in a character change none of us liked played by (IMO) a subpar actor.
I do agree it’s a mistake to kill a legacy character – I would’ve been okay with him in a coma next to Jan Spears LOL. Let the killer fail this one time but put Will into a coma. Same effect – and gets Sami back to the show.
