Happy Easter everyone!! any big plans for tomorrow? we are having diner at my aunts house tomorrow, shouldn’t be too many peolple there. My mom and I tried to be a little creative with our deviled eggs, i saw Rachel ray do this, she cut them in half, then filled them but used capers for eyes and chopped a carrot to tiny triangles to make beaks, we didn’t have any capers so we used little bits of relish and that worked too. They turned out pretty darn cute if I do say so. Lol. So they look like little chicks peeping out of the shell.
I am going to fix deviled eggs tomorrow, so maybe I’ll try to fix them your way. We’re having a beautiful weekend, though a little on the warm side. Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. Drive safely if you have to leave home.
They put warm hard-boiled eggs (halved) in a casserole dish, yolk side up, and then topped them with a cheese sauce. Absolutely delish. And a good way to get rid of Easter eggs.
I also saw in Better Homes & Gardens to top deviled eggs with bits of bacon and avocado. That sounds good too. But then, I LOVE eggs.
