Happy TG everyone Hope you all have a wonderful day.
Second – why did Andre take the fork Abby used from Jen’s house? And then show it to her in the park? WTH was the point of that? LOL Did I miss something? Or was it for him to prove he knew she was hiding out. Seemed a little bizarre.
November 24, 2016 at 4:04 pm #52647PattiParticipantand what I know what will be a beautiful and thankful treat for me to hand over the cooking to my very talented DIL. But wanted to take a second before leaving to wish all of my Salem family of friends a heartfelt Happy Thanksgiving Day 2016. I feel very blessed and thankful today, as always, for my children, my grandchildren, a loving family, what seems to be good health, and wonderful friends like all of you. Gathering with you on this board to keep up with the daily Salem news is always a fun and wonderful sort of hobby for me now, and a way to follow DOOL and to keep up with the thoughts and ideas of all of us to participate on this message board. So enjoy your turkey day, everyone, and have a wonderful day!
November 24, 2016 at 5:17 pm #52652majencoParticipantAwww happy Turkey Day Patti! And everyone else on these boards. Thank you for giving me a place to speculate and vent and just have fun.
November 25, 2016 at 2:34 pm #52655caseyParticipantI took as he would use as fingerprints or DNA to prove Abby was alive?
November 30, 2016 at 4:10 pm #52665justwonderingParticipantTo you Patti and to all board members I wish a belated holiday greeting. Hope all are well and that this and the upcoming Christmas season gives you good cheer and good health.
I have has a major change in my life as my husband passed in April. It was a short illness that spared him pain but left me shocked and saddened. I know that this season sill be difficult for me but will try to continue as he would have wanted. I am blessed with 5 children, 4 children-in-laws ad 8 grandchildren so my days will be kept busy(thank God)
To those going through hard times, I wish you peace and contentment and the strength to find renewed faith in continuing to find postitve things in life.
November 30, 2016 at 5:39 pm #52666majencoParticipantI am so very sorry for your loss. I hope your wonderful family brings you comfort during the holidays and all the days going forward.
November 30, 2016 at 7:43 pm #52668piewomanParticipantfor your loss…I know my hubby retired 8/1, then got A-fib in August…his heart had to be jump started. We got him thru cancer and we’ll get him thru this….his retirement projects just keep gathering dust.
Please know your online friends are thinking the best for you. Keep you family close. Peace to you this holiday season!
November 30, 2016 at 10:45 pm #52670lynnekarenParticipantand I’m very thankful you have a large family surrounding you.
December 1, 2016 at 12:50 am #52673PattiParticipantand it does sadden the holidays, so my sincere condolences to you, justwondering. May God give you the strength through the love of your children and grand-children to help you through your grief.
December 1, 2016 at 4:35 pm #52681justwonderingParticipantThank you for your kind words. It is so nice for strangers to offer concern because I have many people I know who unfortunately chose to say hurtful things such as ,"yah, I heard" or "I know" or"don’t worry you’ll find someone else" instead of offering word of comfort. I realize that some might not know what to say, but sorry doesn’t seem that hard a word. Especailly since strangers showed concern.
I am happy that I have this board to vent!
December 2, 2016 at 7:33 am #52691majencoParticipantPeople react strangely. Maybe they don’t know what to say. It’s sad that they can’t just listen and offer support instead of saying such hurtful and unpleasant things.
December 4, 2016 at 7:15 pm #52704justwonderingParticipantits nice of all of you to offer kind words. It means a lot to me.
