a journey away from reality. One does not walk into a clinic and get an abortion on the same day. You have to go through all kinds of testing and then counceling. That is ridiculous.
Now I’m wondering if she’s actually going to be able to go through with it or will Rafe come crashing in just in the nick of time and stop her. I think there would be more storyline if she does go through with it. I mean, look how long they drug out Mimi’s abortion. And, quite frankly, I’m not anxious to see another pregnancy.

The Catholic religion considers homosexuality a sin and is against birth control as well. Why is only abortion the thing that they refuse to touch? Affairs and shootings and lying and all that is openly tolerated and forgiven. EJ is a freaking rapist! But if poor little teenaged Gabbi gets an abortion then no one can accept that? Lame.

What she should do (but won’t because it would end the storyline) is have the abortion and tell everybody she lost the baby. That she and Will were talking in the park when she started to have problems. He took her to the clinic where she miscarried. The clinic cannot divulge any information on her treatment there so she’s covered.
Of course we know that won’t happen because everything would end too quickly.
And I gotta say, Gabby and Will certainly do know how to look guilty when they lie. Holy cow, they were much better at it in the past…both of them.

How many unwanted teen pregnancies go unnoticed until it’s too late, and in many instances the mother winds up having the child with no help, resulting in misfortune all around, sometimes even with the child winding up in a dumpster. Even though I know Gabi would never do that, but it happens. She can have the support of everyone and still wind up going off the deep end herself. I credit the writers for taking on a real life problem with the young set, and so far they’re doing a terrific job with it. Couldn’t help noticing, though, that right before going into the room, she said: "God, forgive me." Incidentally, I’m seeing compliments to the writers and the show itself from posters across the boards. You may not be able to please everyone all of the time, but from what I’m seeing so far, the general audience is filled with complimentary posts.
November 22, 2012 at 7:10 pm #36576BonbonParticipantthat 18% of pregnancies in our country end up in abortions. Much more than I expected.
November 23, 2012 at 3:25 pm #36590caseyParticipantGabi, being Hispanic is from a Catholic background I would have liked to have seen not merely a “God forgive me” but a real torturous pull here on her decision. Like maybe talking with one of the two priests on this show or at least acknowleging how grave an abortion would be given her faith.
