The fabulous "Mr. Rogers" does it again. No doubt about it, they should rename that pass the "Hail Aaron!!!"
January 9, 2017 at 6:47 pm #52864dvalParticipantoff his game. And I heard he smashed a nice hole in the wall at Lambeau Field because he was so angry. That boy has got to learn to control himself and keep his ego in check. Congrats to the Pack..I was rooting for them all the way.
January 9, 2017 at 11:09 pm #52867caseyParticipantalso was on some kind of bull riding holiday I think in Miami right before the game. One of his teamates called him out and rightly so. Down the road you have to wonder if this could escalate. A brilliant talent but needs to mature.
January 15, 2017 at 6:06 pm #52903powerpaw2ParticipantHopefully Dom Capers has a better plan for containing Elliott. Cobb, Adams, et al need to step it up to make up for Jordy being out. (BTW, it’s total BS that Leon Hall wasn’t fined for that hit. He clearly led with the crown of his helmet.)
January 16, 2017 at 2:29 pm #52905caseyParticipantBoy, did this live up to the hype. PowerPaw, I bet you were sweating bullets on this one. And AR once again showed he is the best QB in the game right now. Next week should be another beauty.
January 16, 2017 at 3:50 pm #52906PattiParticipantthis has been the best playoffs I can remember watching in a long time where ALL of the games so far have been not only great match-ups, but nail-biting, down-to-the-wire wins (well, maybe with the exception of the poor Texans); however, if I have to pinpoint one thing good about all of them is it really makes you wake up and realize what a fabulous, elite QB does for the team. Believe me, I’m not taking anything away from the individual team players, whether on offense or defense or special teams, but watching these elite QBs perform in this seasons’ playoffs has been emotional excitment beyond compare for this fan of the game. Way to go and heartfelt congrats to all of the winners to date!
January 18, 2017 at 2:37 am #52907powerpaw2ParticipantChip kept coming out and checking to make sure his mom hadn’t lost it. I got plenty of cardio jumping up and down, and yelling at the TV. I am just amazed at Aaron’s patience. And oh my gosh, when he got sacked, didn’t fumble and had the presence of mind to call a time out.
My massage therapist in VA is an Atlanta fan, so the texts will be flying Sunday. Go Pack, Go!!
January 18, 2017 at 2:38 am #52908powerpaw2ParticipantI think they could have beat the Patriots.
January 18, 2017 at 2:30 pm #52910caseyParticipantby Houston’s D as this team had a lightweight schedule, but against the Pats they showed why they were #1. Yes, on that day with a good QB they well might have been in the AFC championship game. I look for Brady & Co. to have a better one against the Steelers. If they reach the SB, I would give either NFC team the edge, mostly because losing Gronk will loom large against equal competition.
January 23, 2017 at 3:33 am #52926powerpaw2ParticipantThe phase for today is "missed opportunities". You can’t miss a very makeable field goal, fumble when you are driving down the field, not recover a fumble when the ball is literally under your nose, drop passes, fail to catch an easy interception, act like you’re scared to hit someone so you can wrap them up and bring them down, play pass coverage so soft that it appears you are afraid of catching a cold from the receiver, etc and that’s all in the first half.
Dom Capers needs to retire. His plan for stopping Dallas was suspect at best and the plan for stopping Atlanta was an epic fail. The Pack needs safties and cornerbacks who aren’t afraid to tackle, and a D line who can stop the run.
Congratulations to the Atlanta Falcons. They were definitely the better team today and I hope they win it all.
January 23, 2017 at 2:52 pm #52927caseyParticipantto all Pack fans. Even AR couldn’t work miracles in that game. I believe this is the Falcons’ year and they’ve been playing superb most of the year. As good and wily as the Patriots are, I am picking Ryan and Co to take it all. If Brady and Bel win this one, another notch in their awesome dynasty.
January 23, 2017 at 10:50 pm #52928powerpaw2ParticipantWould be great for them to get the trophy.
January 25, 2017 at 3:59 pm #52935PattiParticipantbut I’ve had a very busy week. Anyway, WHAT A DAMN SHAME!!!! Packers did not look good at all, I’m sorry to say. Even the best (to me) QB in the leage sort of gave up on his team. Too many injuries, poor defense, missed tackles, and playing a team who should not have surprised anyone with their fabulous QB in their own right, and a killer offense. Doesn’t change the fact that I kept hoping to see the Packers come back in the second half, but honestly, truth be told, they were simply outplayed!
Hats off to the Falcons, though, and needless to say, I hope they go ALL THE WAY!!! No comments on the other game, except to say GOOOOOO FALCONS!!!
January 26, 2017 at 1:29 am #52939powerpaw2ParticipantYep, go Falcons!
