I don’t know where this storyline is going, especially with Nicole leaving, but I hope Days has some strategic reason why we have to suffer thru this teenage angst. I would much rather Days brings the Everett story front and center.
Also, Holly’s prom dress looked like something you’d wear at the beach for a casual meal. I guess Days clothing budget has really nosedived. I know it was a last minute prom invite, but this was all she had to wear?
I don’t know where it’s going. I’ll be honest, I think I’d be more interested if it were the old Tate. New Tate is a fine actor, but he really is way too old to be believable as a teenager. I am just thinking about how he’s old enough that he would have been better as a relationship interest for Claire, if they brought her back. I just think it was poor casting. That said, when Nicole leaves, where will Holly go? Will she stay at the Dimera mansion? Will she leave too? Will she move in with Maggie or Eric? Where does she fit in without her mother? I would also like to say that the Everett/Bobby story is interesting? Why did they just ship him off to the mental hospital and leave it like that? I’m glad the real writers are back, but storylines seem so chopped off with no clear plan going forward.
I agree, storylines do feel chopped off with no clear path forward. There are characters without any story and stories that have been hanging around too long. Examples: what happens to Ava now that Harris left? Eric seems to be hanging around now and the big Jude daddy reveal is not moving fast enough; Alex needs a story and there’s one waiting for him if the writers would speed up the Teresa deception reveal; Brady is just in the background without a story of his own; the John/Constantine truth is in the works so when will John return?
I wish they would quickly wrap up the existing stories before they start on new ones: Leo’s mom, Xander’s mom, Abagail being alive,etc
