Does it bother anyone else that Hope doesn’t go look for the box that Ciera claims is under Hope’s bed? That would be such a simple solution. Poor Ciera. I wonder how they explain this to the little actress playing the part. She probably would say, why don’t you go look and end this stupidity? Can you tell I’ve actually watched a show instead of reading Prevuze??! Now I know why I read Prevuze – I can at least laugh at the italicized comments from the Prevuze writer instead of shaking my head in disgust.
May 26, 2010 at 3:26 pm #13160PattiParticipantinstead of getting better (since it is May sweeps), the story lines keep getting worse. I am almost to the point where I am embarrassed to say I am a DOOL fan to another true soap lover. I have always adored and greatly admire Kristian Alfonso and was so extremely happy to hear she was going to get a front-burner story; however, the disappointment in it thus far has been extremely frustrating. It makes no sense whatsoever in so many ways that it becomes not an interesting yet mysterious puzzle, but instead a laughing stock and the butt of many many a joke, not just on Prevuze, but other message/spoiler boards as well. I can only imagine, if she ever reads a message board ANYWHERE, what Kristian, or any other cast associated with this story line, must be thinking by now. I know they have to save face somehow, so they praise the writing and go beyond words when being interviewed, but honestly, how can accomplished, talented actors praise this shit??? Beats me.

Their only job is to do the best they can with what is written for them and we know all the cast does this exceedingly well. Just think, how often do we dis on the actual acting? Not very.

I still scream, shout, rant and rail at the stupidity of the idiotic drivel the writer’s have once again written. And they have written some dooseys over the years.
It’s not the actor’s – the actors are paid to act. That’s why as inane and insane as the writers have written for Crystal Chappell’s character Carly – I refuse to slam "Carly" – I may not like what she has done as a character but Crystal does a fine job given lines that she is given for her character.
As does Kristen, "Hope" – I thought this would be a great mystery a real who-dunnit of the mugger and finding out it was Hope, but once again the writer’s only speak one type of show – rinse and repeat. No imagination beyond that.

They might think something is out of character for who they’re playing but not seeing it after it’s edited as we are they’re not seeing the entire picture and might not even realize something’s totally off until they read it on the boards.
