to put up with Sami carrying on again. She will bawl and squawl(?) and blame everyone but herself for the (fake)tragedy. I hope this sl doesn’t drag on and on. If this does mean that Stefano will be captured for real and put away or even killed, that would really make my day. He has outstayed his welcome and it is TIME FOR HIM TO GO!!!!!!! If there had been decent writers over the years, maybe there wouldn’t have been DiMeara’s crammed down

May 8, 2012 at 1:28 pm #32854mommytutuParticipantI know a lot of people love Stefano, but I’d love to see his time on Days come to an end. I’m so tired of him and his antics. The character has grown old and stale.
May 8, 2012 at 1:48 pm #32857justwonderingParticipantEvery show must have a villian, and Stefano has always filled the bill. There have been times when he has left the showr, but in the end there must be an evil force. At one time,it was Victor. I have always enjoyed Stefano and would hate for him to leave, unless it is Joe’s choice to go.
May 8, 2012 at 2:58 pm #32859caseyParticipantStef, but it’s become so repetitive that when our heroes are in “danger” I now just roll my eyes and say, “come on!” because we know they will all survive.
IF they made this character truly mafioso and put the kind of edge into his evil that kept you hooked – and maybe killed off some characters that counted – it would be fresher.
But I think it’s finally time to turn the corner on Stef and bring on some new villain to liven things up. And I don’t mean EJ. I am so very tired of him.May 8, 2012 at 4:01 pm #32861PattiParticipantthat they are setting the stage for Joe M’s departure. I no longer see him constantly escaping his fate. He may have not wanted to kill them, but the repetition of his escaping or denying his part in any wrong-doing is over for me. It’s time to put him to rest. Joe is such a great actor, but these horrific writers have turned his character to mush, and as much as I hate to see it happen to this legendary character, it’s time for the Phoenix to go down, never to rise again. If, in fact, that’s the plan, I would not want him to be assassinated by the likes of anyone in Salem, the SPD, FBI, ISA, whose incompetence has been overwhelming and who will never be a match for Stefano. No, instead, I would like it to be by his own hand, realizing that his actions have caused him to lose everything and everyone whoever meant anything to him, especially his queen of the night, believing he is responsible for Marlena’s death. Make it happen, writers.
May 8, 2012 at 4:17 pm #32863trykeryderParticipantthat, with decent writing, the character didn’t have to become stale. Old…well ain’t none of us getting any younger, but he could have been written so much better.
May 8, 2012 at 4:55 pm #32866NoraParticipantSami should be jumping for joy at this news, I mean it gets rid of carrie, who she hates, marlena and John, who she claims to hate, and rafe who are on the outs right now, so she should be secretly happy about it.
May 8, 2012 at 6:05 pm #32869PattiParticipantalthough it would appear that way the most. I keep thinking about what Lucas said to Will today ….. "just because you are mad at somebody doesn’t mean you hate them." I do think she was wrong to be blaming Roman the way she did, though. But, that’s Sami — always opening her mouth and inserting her foot. She’ll probably be mad at all of them when the truth comes out, though, for ‘making’ HER believe they were all dead. I can just hear her now …. "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME???" LOL!
May 8, 2012 at 6:22 pm #32872NoraParticipantYep you are probably right on that too, I can hear her say exactly that. I bet shell blame marlena first.
May 9, 2012 at 8:57 am #32877BonbonParticipantHe’s just too slimey.
May 9, 2012 at 1:07 pm #32888dvalParticipantat least she wasn’t screaming and yelling incoherently and pounding him with her fists like she usually does. It was more like shock, I thought. it could have been said without blaming Roman though. You know, "How could this have happened" as opposed to how could you have let this happen Daddy. But that’s our little Sami, LOL
May 9, 2012 at 1:25 pm #32891luckeyParticipantSami. I didn’t like that Lucas backed him off and said "this isn’t about you"…for me that didn’t make any sense because Will wasn’t making it about himself. He was spot on with Sami at the exact moment that she needed to be called out. He really just said what everyone else was thinking.
