Not that I ever did, but the writers have made Sami very trampy in my opinion. Before the wedding she’s with EJ and he’s telling her he loves her and she’s eating it up. Out goes EJ, and in walks Rafe. Ext thing you know she’s rolling all over the sofa with him. She’s all into Rafe and is making googly eyes at him until Chad’s big reveal and now she hates Rafe and falls right into EJ’s arms. Sorry, but this is so unbelievable! I can’t stand to watch it.
January 17, 2013 at 2:31 pm #37341MKParticipantI feel the EXACT same way, mommytutu. It’s ridiculous. She’s like a swinging door. Haven’t we already done this before over and over again? I thought she would grow out of this by now and grow up. She’s all into the one who happens to be there for her at the moment.
January 17, 2013 at 3:04 pm #37342justwonderingParticipantI am beginning to think that Sami is afraid to be alone. It is as if she needs a man to define her. The worse part is she is a capable woman who is raising 3 children. Now she has a job she is good at and yet she still cannot bear to be alone.
I really hate this SL cause I cannot understand why she would want to be with EJ after everything he has done. Even though he is being portrayed as a kinder, gentler person, he can never change who he is. I really wish it would come out that Johnny is Lucas’s child, so the hold over her would be less. Don’t know how they can explain Sydney, but i would love that she is not EJ’s child either!!!
January 17, 2013 at 3:07 pm #37343PattiParticipantthat she was in love with both of these men, as Caroline assured her that she, herself, knows how that feels, because she was in love with both Shawn and Victor at the same time. It’s possible, but what should not be depicted is how she can so easily be ready to jump into bed, couch, whatever with them. It should be shown how it is driving her crazy not being able to make up her mind, seeking perhaps Marlena’s help, who will, of course, steer her away from E.J. This indecisive way they are writing Sami is even on my nerves, because I can see her being confused, but not allowing herself to be making out with, love to, or even hot and heavy petting with her on-again/off-again lovelife concerning both of these man. I do think the writers are going to go with E.J., though, now that the wedding lies have sort of turned her and Rafe into enemies. At least that’s what I see happening because regardless of how many say no, E.J. is not capable of loving anyone, I think Sami is the ONLY woman he has ever truly loved.
January 17, 2013 at 3:55 pm #37345MKParticipantI can definitely see somebody loving two people at the same time but how can she love EJ? It doesn’t make any sense to me. Maybe if it was anybody else I would understand. But her rapist EJ? Not to mention all of the other terrible things he’s done to her and her family. In her mind, I guess if she thinks he’s changed, it makes up for all the bad things he’s done. So ludicrous and not believable to me at all. I, too, think she will go with EJ, for now, but I don’t think it will be for long. At some point, she’ll be panting for Rafe again.
Which brings me to an important question: Wouldn’t Sami loving EJ be a turn-off for Rafe? How could he love/respect the woman who wants to be with the man who orchestrated Rafe’s kidnapping and switching him with fauxRafe? Something to think about.
January 17, 2013 at 4:06 pm #37346rfsextonParticipantI don’t like Sami with Rafe or ej. I only like her with Lucas. As far as I am concerned, rafe and ej could both fade to the background indefinitely.
January 17, 2013 at 5:11 pm #37348caseyParticipantproblem is we are treading over and over this triangle. And we don’t even get to see Sami with one or the other literally for more than ten minutes. I don’t know what Days is trying to accomplish here.
January 17, 2013 at 5:21 pm #37350justwonderingParticipantCaroline loved 2 men. She had a affair with Victor that produced Bo. However, she chose to stay with Shawn and pretend that Bo was his. Victor knew nothing until Bo was grown. She never strayed again.
Jennifer was "in love" with 2 men, jack and Daniel. She dated 2 men, but made it clear she would not be "familiar" with either until she mad her choice.
Sami has not taken either road in her relationship with her two men. Instead, she just jumps from one to another depending on who is available and on her side!!!
Should she even consider EJ? Not in a million years. I Know that soaps are extremes but some bells cannot be unrung!!!
January 18, 2013 at 12:42 am #37363jessad7Participantturn your stomach things. How could Sami consider EJ even for a second? Are they throwing them together just so they can do something horrible to each other again? Plus how many times has she told EJ she thought he had changed and then realized he hadn’t and never would. It’s like someone dropped a coconut on her head and she forgot the past. Somebody needs to hit her with another one so she remembers.
If it was a momentary lapse in judgment, I can see that from Sami, but she’s had plenty of time to think and she’s NOT THINKING! It’s so frustrating to me and so unbelievable, it makes it boring. I just feel like this would never happen so let’s move it along. Next!
