They both got in some good zingers that hit home on both of them. I thought it was well written…for a change.
March 11, 2010 at 2:17 pm #11210caseyParticipantWell written and played out. It really showed Steph’s true colors and that she will play hard ball to keep Nathan.
March 11, 2010 at 7:30 pm #11216shadowParticipantStephanie is so jealous of Melanie, she can’t see straight. She is very conniving and not to be trusted. She wishes Phillip and Nathan were both wanting her instead of Melanie.
On another note, I really like Brady(Arianna not to much), but I am tired of seeing them jump in bed all the time. I’m not sure they have anything in common but sex.
March 11, 2010 at 10:51 pm #11219BonbonParticipantI’m not sure if Stephanie is still in love with Philip or just doesn’t want Melanie to have him. And while they seem to want us to believe that she’s really into Nathan, I’m not so sure she’s not just trying to convince herself that she cares for him because Philip married Mel. And we know that Mel still has feelings for Nathan, she seems to really love Philip. Good grief, they don’t usually make things so confusing for us, normally they hit us over the head with everything to make sure we understand. What does everybody else think?
March 11, 2010 at 11:39 pm #11224PattiParticipantbut she also didn’t know that Stephanie didn’t show Nathan the letter. If she had, I’m sure Melanie would not have married Phillip, and Stephanie knows that as well. She blames Melanie for her breakup with Phillip and with Max, but she brought a lot of it on herself. Now she’s going to have to face the music, because I think that Nathan will find out that Stephanie deliberately stood between his and Melanie’s happiness, and that they would have been together if he had known how Mel felt. Still, I have to blame Melanie, as well because no one marries someone just because they didn’t get an answer from the one they truly wanted to be with through a letter that never got to them in the first place. Crazy, but I don’t like Stephanie, never have, never will, so for as much as I have criticized Melanie for her actions, I’m hoping that the truth will come out and Nathan will drop Stephanie like a hot potato. Too bad, because I really do like the actress, but the character can go at any time for me.
March 11, 2010 at 11:47 pm #1122653tdogsParticipantI don’t even think the writers know how they are going to play this yet…it’s like watching a tennis game on t.v. – ball (Mel’s feelings – Stephanie’s feelings) back and forth and back and forth until we’re all dizzy from watching.
I think the reason that Mel is in the hospital so long (look how quickly other’s have bounced back from shootings), is that the writers are not sure of how thing are going to go.
Not sure how pertinent it is to legally consumate a marriage when you’ve already slept with the person before the marriage, however is this a way for Mel to get out of marriage to Phillip?
And where’s Vivy these past few days…last I saw she looked like a tree had fallen on her when Victor was giving her a "what for and how come!"
March 12, 2010 at 2:41 am #11217majencoParticipantWhile I agree that Stephanie is jealous I still loved seeing her play tough with Melanie. My how she changed her tune from that whole ridiculous conversation she had with Lexie about the "mistake" she made being misunderstood. Puhlease!
March 12, 2010 at 2:47 am #11228GoodyParticipantconcerning Stephanie; she is so jealous that she can’t see straight. She can’t stand that both Philip and Nathan want Melanie , and she is is not the center of attention. I hope that soon it will become clear to everyone in Salem that Stephanie is a selfish, conniving b=tch.
Personally, I like Philip and Melanie together; he is so caring when he is with Melanie.
If Nathan is foolish enough to be fooled by Stephanie, then he deserves what he gets. Open your eyes, Nathan!!!

March 12, 2010 at 2:08 pm #11232justwonderingParticipantThis is all about possession. Mel married Philip cause she thought Nathan didn’t want her. Nathan went away with Steph cause he thought thst Mel wanted to marry Philip. Steph wan’t going to lose another man to Mel. Philip couldn’t have Steph so he went to Mel cause she can accapt him as hs is and not make him change. So no of these people know what they want. Not a good way to start a life together.
March 12, 2010 at 2:58 pm #11235PattiParticipantwas Owen. Bring that guy back. They were hot hot hot together. I know he played a sleazy part, but inside those baggy clothes and that ridiculous ponytail was a great lookin’ guy with a gorgeous physique, and crazy in love with Stephanie. If not, then pack her bags and send her on her way.
March 12, 2010 at 6:15 pm #11238luckeyParticipantanything about him? Was he with this Stephanie or with the first Stephanie? Man…I’m racking my brain and can’t remember anything about him. What was his story?
March 12, 2010 at 6:33 pm #11239DeeLanParticipantOwen was the gardner at the Kuriakas. He also worked for Stefano and kidnapped Stephanie (this one) and held her in the mosoleum.
March 12, 2010 at 7:32 pm #11243PunkyParticipantit was a good scene but it is funny watching these two figure out what is ‘right’. They are both so ridiculously selfish and annoying. Both of them can go away at any time.
