Stefano was someone you loved to hate and had many dimensions. I could see the side Abe and Kate talked about. Sometimes he showed his vulnerability. I enjoyed watching him all these years. Goodbye Stefano.
But Joe made it a treat to watch the character, and he has an awesome smile. Loved the "checkmate DiMera" from John!
They could have done a two-hour special and I would have watched. There is so much history I have forgotten. LOL, as long as we don’t have to see sub sex.
not only to a fabulous actor in JM, but also to the character of the truly iconic Stefano DiMera. I loved each and every minute of it! And what a fitting ending! WOW!!!
I am glad that Stefano is gone, but I’m really happy that his contributions to the show were recognized. I’m happy to see the writers not letting our characters die without tribute.
I also really loved the scenes where Chad struggled to understand his troubled relationship with his father. Chad is one of the best actors on the show IMO. He and Nicole seem to be the most natural.
even after Kate Mansi leaves (which she already has), and I hope they can find a good recast that works as well with Billy, because he shines in his role of Chad DiMera.
about a recast, so I’m really anxious to know what’s down the road for Abby and Chad if Kate Mansi is NOT recast. What is Abby’s fate in determining how she leaves Salem? If they DO recast, it will have to be with a very strong actress, because Kate Mansi has really been good and owning the role ever since she was kidnapped by Ben (a perfect example of a young actress who started slow and improved to the point where Abby and Chad have earned the right (at least by their fans) to be put in a super-couple category, but Billy Flynn is such a strong actor that a weak actress would only pull him down, possibly even destroy Chad and have him turn back into a full-fledged revenge-seeking DiMera. So, another wait-n-see I guess. But, I haven’t even read where anyone is auditioning for the part of Abigail Devereaux, and Kate is long-gone and working on other projects. I do know she will be on our screen until May sweeps, at least.
Seems like we’ve had too many deaths, but if anything, that definitely would turn Chad to the dark side.
