As soon as Anna picked up that stool, I knew what was going to happen. What I can’t figure out though is the purpose of that whole thing if she was going to come to with nothing happening. That could have been a very tragic situation. Maybe it’ll make her think she should bring Sydney back home because she is there all alone.
BTW, didn’t that look a lot like the Horton cabin? Except for the window in the door. But, we heard sirens outside and I don’t think there are any cars on the island.
December 18, 2009 at 3:43 pm #8539BonoSugaRayParticipantLOL Yeah, I saw that coming too! And what in the world was she doing with those HEELS on, climbing onto a chair?! LOL Oh my goodness! It was an accident just waiting to happen. And yeah, maybe that fall might wake her up! Maybe she’ll realize that she needs to give the baby to her parents, because she’s unable to take care of the child on her own…The baby could’ve turned into ice, after Anna fell out, and the door was wide open, and the temp. in the cabin dropped! I’m surprised the poor baby wasn’t frost bit or anything! Heck, Anna sure was cold.
December 18, 2009 at 4:15 pm #8540DeeLanParticipantMaybe they’re setting it up that Sydney gets sick due to the low temps. I hope that’s not it tho, just what we don’t need, another sick baby story.
December 18, 2009 at 5:14 pm #8546June66watcherParticipantthe impending fall. But earlier, we saw those three-sectioned leopard skin boots sitting on the floor while Anna had on other shoes. Seemed contrived to show us those boots twice. Seeing them on the door stoop seemed like an overkill. My first instinct, based on the ‘gift card’ to Nathan & Melanie for lodging at Green Mountain lodge, was to think that is where Anna is at. Then the sirens made me second guess though — not that there aren’t sirens in mountain communities (cause I know first hand there are). Oh, wait…. that means there are emergency services available and when the baby starts up with "what we imagine will be a temperature", we’ll be relieved that help is close by. But, IF there is a trip to emergency, or a house call — to what end?
Those writers are doing such a good job lately of keeping us in the guessing game!!
December 18, 2009 at 5:30 pm #8548DeeLanParticipantNever thought of Green Mountain Lodge. That’s got to be close to Doc Baker’s clinic. Too bad he’s not still alive, then when Sydney gets sick and needs to see the doc he’d be the one to treat her.
December 18, 2009 at 5:32 pm #8550June66watcherParticipantI felt his death was a ‘rouge’. His way of escaping those who want his arms and legs in payment. So, IF he were alive, I doubt he’d be returning to any scene of a crime!
December 18, 2009 at 6:24 pm #8553DCola522ParticipantI thought it was the Horton cabin too! I was trying to figure out what the heck she was doing there!
December 18, 2009 at 9:27 pm #8558majencoParticipantIsn’t the door to the cabin the same as the one on Alice Hortons house?
December 18, 2009 at 10:02 pm #856653tdogsParticipantwith the boots – the next thing I saw was what appeared to be the Horton cabin – and then legs and boots sticking out by the door way – I thought "did the house fall on the wicked witch again"? And who climbs a step ladder with 3 or 4 inch heels? Noooooooooooooot meeeeeeeeeeee.
December 19, 2009 at 9:46 am #8576KseeParticipantwell who in the heck would put a baby in a play pen that close to a fire place!!!!!!!!!!!!
December 19, 2009 at 1:09 pm #8588BonbonParticipantThe funny thing is, in the scene just before she gets up on the ladder, we see the boots on the floor…sans Anna…yet she had them on when she fell. Oh-oh, where’s the continuity editor?
As to it being the Horton cabin, the only thing I see different is the door. The one where Anna is has a glass insert that the Horton cabin doesn’t have. Also, the fireplace is on the wall to the right as you enter. At the Horton cabin it was straight ahead. It probably IS the same set with just a little rearranging. As someone mentioned before, it could be the Green Mountain Lodge. Although why she would be putting a wreath on the door of a hotel is very head-scratching.
December 19, 2009 at 1:33 pm #8590PattiParticipantwould wear those buck-ugly boots? No one except for Anna. I don’t think even Kate would be caught dead in those.
December 19, 2009 at 11:27 pm #8610caseyParticipantHe moved his fingers ever so slightly. I can’t imagine that would be for any reason but to suggest the demise of the “good” Doc is premature. So maybe he’s still in on this one way or another.
December 20, 2009 at 1:15 am #8613PattiParticipantbut how in the world would he have any connection to Anna?
December 20, 2009 at 4:49 am #861653tdogsParticipantHe could have hooked up with Anna (unbeknowst to us) – they both always needed and wanted money.
