they actually did anything yesterday in the supply closet or do you think the knock stopped them just in time? I really couldn’t tell.
January 30, 2014 at 5:55 pm #42611MKParticipantThe way they were buttoning clothes and straightening shirts, I think they definitely did it.
January 30, 2014 at 9:15 pm #42613BonbonParticipantI didn’t think they got that far.
January 30, 2014 at 9:15 pm #42614PattiParticipantbut they sure got a good start, and would have gone through with it fully if they hadn’t been interrupted. E.J. was actually zipping up his pants. Ugh!!!!
January 31, 2014 at 2:01 am #42618majencoParticipantI don’t care how much Sami pushes him away. She explained why she was doing it. She doesn’t trust him. And why should she? He’s a liar. So he’s not getting laid and it’s Sami’s fault he cheats? No sir. He will not be getting away with that when she finds out.
January 31, 2014 at 1:08 pm #42620BonbonParticipantof this thread but, IMO, there is NO excuse for cheating…NONE! But then, if Sami is going to stay engaged and live with EJ, it is reprehensible for her to deny him her affections…if you know what I mean. She is doing nothing more than blackmailing him.
January 31, 2014 at 1:25 pm #42621mommytutuParticipant"She told two friends and she told two friends and so on and so on . . . " That’s the EJ storyline and at some point she’ll be pregnant too because EJ has some awesomely powerful sperm. Even women who cannot conceive, have conceived with EJ.
January 31, 2014 at 1:53 pm #42623caseyParticipantthese two would simply call off the engagement. Is Sami just going to go on not trusting him but not breaking it off? I bristle when I hear of any excuse for cheating. Cheating is called that because it is always destructive in the end.
But this is Salem and triangles are a Days’ staple, this one doesn’t have much entertainment value for me.
January 31, 2014 at 3:29 pm #42625dvalParticipantby this argument for a long time, the people who say Sami won’t put out so EJ has to get it somewhere, implying it is her fault. is this the 1950’s? What about EJ’s part in all of this? He refuses to admit that he knows what his sister did, which would clear Eric and make Sami feel closer to him. She is correct, he puts his family ahead of hers. Now we aren’t talking my brother didn’t like what your sister said here, we are talking about a despicable act that has caused irreparable harm to Eric’s career (granted for the end purposes of the storyline but still). But EJ won’t do the right thing and tell the truth. Instead he thinks that if he helps Sami out of her problems then that is enough and he shouldn’t have to do anymore. He could just as easily fix this situation and have his cake and, well you know the saying…. but he won’t.
The problem with this relationship, which I have said from the get go, is that it is not based on mutual respect. It is based on their underlying dislike for things the other does and they get off on being angry with each other. Not a healthy relationship or one that has long lasting written all over it. Sami should just walk away and find a man who can treat her respectfully. I know people hated the Rafe/Sami pairing but he was willing to do just about anything for her too and not expect anything in return. She took advantage of that, because she is Sami, but before she did they were happy. There has to be mate for Sami out there who is in between Mr. Nice Guy Rafe and Mr. I Won’t Admit That My Family is Evil EJ.
January 31, 2014 at 4:17 pm #42626MKParticipantI, in no way, am condoning what EJ is doing to Sami. I’m just stating how it is with EJ. It is not right what he’s doing but he is doing it. He and Sami keep fighting. Does it make it right for him to cheat on her? Absolutely not. Of courst it’s ALL his fault that he is cheating on Sami. She may be pushing him away but he is using that as an excuse to hookup with the ever-willing Abby. And since Abby is making it so easy for him to get some, he is going for it.
January 31, 2014 at 9:07 pm #42627PattiParticipantbite your tongue!!!! I’m sick to death of this s/l as is, just from the damn flash-backs alone. LOL!
January 31, 2014 at 11:16 pm #42628dvalParticipantthat you were condoning it. It’s just that it seems to be a common thread when this storyline is discussed, EJ is doing this because he has “needs” that Sami isn’t satisfying. It sounds like such an old fashioned notion, a man has needs and he will what, blow up if he doesn’t get it often enough, so he has to go find it where he can? So it’s all Sami’s fault because she won’t put out. And maybe that isn’t what people mean, but that is how it sounds to me when I read it. JMO of course.
February 1, 2014 at 6:03 am #42634jessad7ParticipantAbby end up pregnant. This storyline has kind of annoyed me, so I guess I feel like they deserve it. It could be interesting to see the Dimera’s and Horton’s deal with each other more. Not sure I’d like to see the pregnancy come to fruition however. Just can’t imagine them having any sort of relationship outside of the, uh, bedroom? Closet? Whatever.
February 3, 2014 at 2:11 pm #42659MKParticipant"a man has needs and he will what, blow up if he doesn’t get it often enough" OMG, that has me laughing so hard right now! You make a great point.
February 3, 2014 at 3:08 pm #42662PattiParticipantpersonally, I hope E.J. suffers from this way more than Abbey. They both need a little karma, if you ask me. I just think that Sami is sort of pushing E.J. into it by her constantly denying him any kind of reasoning that she even wants to be around him, so to me she’s bringing a lot of this on herself. Once E.J. got a taste of what Abbey is more than willing to offer, seems Sami’s plans to suppress E.J.’s affections are going to backfire on her big time, and personally I’m beginning to not care about any of them.
