today. I’m growing bored with Hope’s story and for goodness sake, can we please start a new day??? Theresa was able to find furniture and have it delivered and decorated within hours. Poor Victor needs to go to bed even though he said he wouldn’t be able to sleep tonight. These writers & stories don’t take into account how long each day has been! In Days time it’s probably only 4-5 days since Hopes wedding. The way it ended today tells me that Tuesday’s show will yet again, be the same day/night. Drives me nuts…
Btw, is that is for Sami? Will we see her again?
December 14, 2015 at 11:05 pm #50041caseyParticipantbored w/the Hope SL as much as I question her behavior in regard to her daughter. I totally understand her revenge/grief-driven emotion, but to move ahead with such recklessness for the safety of both herself and Ciara (as was shown today) is unacceptable. When Hope proclaims Ciara will always have her mom, she cannot guarantee that and her first priority should be her child. I hope she learned that today.
Yes, the time factor has gotten absurd. And as for Sami, I agree we’re left standing with her breezing in and out, as she’s not really a part of the action right now.December 14, 2015 at 11:26 pm #50042PattiParticipantmaking those promises to Ciara was a smdh moment for me, too. I mean, whoever was holding Ciara could have easily killed her right then and there, in front of Hope’s eyes, on closed circuit TV. She sure as hell looked scared out of her wits today, and then to come back with her rough-tough creampuff routine in front of Ciara, Victor, and even Rafe was the worst dialogue they could have given her for today’s show. It really made her look not only bad, but downright laughable. I’m actually starting to hate this sl. This is not what I meant when I said I like seeing Hope in detective mode.
December 15, 2015 at 2:29 am #50043dvalParticipantwhen they made it a story driven by her “visions” of Bo which we all knew were her projections of guilt and not what Bo would EVER want her to be doing. Since it really isn’t about her love for Bo but really about her guilt I find it an unacceptable storyline setting Hope up to once again need to be rescued by some man (Rafe) and not able to take care of herself. AND I was thoroughly put off by the way they had Rafe reveal his love to her and how quickly it happened. The writers seem to be racing through some things, like Rafe telling Hope he loves her and, as far as I am concerned anyway, Kayla and Steven’s reunion, and soooooo slowly getting through other stories like the Ben and Abigail story. Sometimes I’m left a little confused.
December 15, 2015 at 2:32 am #50044justwonderingParticipantI too have lost interest in this SL. Actually, I never had an iterest in it. I just remember how angry Hope got at Bo for putting little Ciara in danger when she got kidnapped because of his work. She actually made him leave the house! Now here she is, doing the same thing. Worse, Ciara just lost her dad, not only is Hope putting Ciara in danger, she is putting herself indanger which would leave Ciara with no parent at all!!
Next, I have NO interest in Kayla and Patch, I simply FF through these scenes. I also don’t care about Ava!!
I must say for all the hype about new writers and bicentennial and return of characters, I feel that it is falling very flat. The Bicentennial was a bust, with all the "preparations", it ended up being one evening the same night as Hope’s wedding. It was like all of a sudden, "let’s get this SL over with". Hope’s wedding, Bo’s return to be hero, Bo gets sick, goes to a party and dies all in one day!
I enjoyed Ben’s story but again after all the buildup, poof, its over.on to the next. Now, we have Brady and Theresa again, and Nu Philip returning to get close to Belle?
It seems that Days is going down quick
December 15, 2015 at 3:09 am #50045lynnekarenParticipantits still the same day they buried Bo, and Rafe is telling her he loves her! Ugh.
December 15, 2015 at 3:17 am #50046lynnekarenParticipantthe Ciara/Bo kidnapping story vs this story. Wonder if it was the same writers? In any case, it was too much too soon. No one has grieved for their losses, except Eve, and there were SO many! Not Sami, Marlena, Hope. I mean Abbi grieved for the Midwife more than anyone else has openly grieved, haha
I do like Steve & Kayla, but don’t care about Ava. I want to vomit at Theresa and Brady; my fav, Nicole is MIA & soon Dan will be dead; don’t care about Andre, nor do I care to see Chad & Abbi in turmoil again so soon. Hoping Johns family is a good story though!
December 15, 2015 at 3:20 am #50047powerpaw2ParticipantI had watched part of the show earlier, but am now goign to delete the rest of it because it sounds like it was a real stinker today. Will devote my time to something better.
December 15, 2015 at 6:51 am #50048jessad7ParticipantWatching her on screen the other day was the first time in a long time I’ve really wanted to fast forward. I have no interest in her. I think I was watching when she was on before, but I don’t remember any of her storyline. Plus it’s very odd for an actor to portray a character, come back as a different character, then show up and she’s the first character again. I guess it happened with Adrienne, too, but that I didn’t mind so much. Adrienne was much more of a major character than Bonnie or Taylor or Ava. It’s starting to feel like the show packed in a year of excitement into a few months and now it’s leveling out.
Plus, do Hope and Abby even know about what happened to each other? Seems like they could have something to talk about between Aiden and Ben. Maybe help each other through a bit? Grieve together?
December 15, 2015 at 12:56 pm #50049mommytutuParticipantI am so not interested in Ava Vitali! Send her away!
December 15, 2015 at 2:01 pm #50050caseyParticipantthe Rafe reveal. Not only was it so out of the blue, but it fell instantly flat. What was the point? It seems to be a continual replay – new writers come in, show us some great stuff and then after a few months back to same ol’. I think it’s tough to maintain any consistency with so many characters in for a brief stint and then out, plus the deaths. Maybe too many characters on the scene at the expense of favorites and not being able to focus on meaty SLs. Days seems scattered right now in the wake of the SK story and I can only hope the New Year’s Eve events will pump up the show again.
