something different for Christmas Eve with the singalong at the square. I was expecting Claire to come up with this stellar voice but she was average at best.

beautifully festive, and I agree about the singing.  Claire has a nice voice, so I can see why Eve was sizing her up, probably for her first pupil for the Paige Larson Music School.  Hope her mother, Belle, will be paying more attention to her daughter and not to Chad’s advances.

With so many beautiful Christmas songs, why did they have to pick that one? Ugh! Babes In Toyland certainly isn’t what I’d call a beloved classic.

I thought the song was nice, something different.  This late into the season, it’s nice to hear a song I haven’t heard a million times already this year.  I also liked her voice, it has kind of a modern folk sound to it.

What a lousy choice!  I FFed through it.  My guess is political correctness took over and the writers didn’t want to include a song that references the meaning of Christmas.
