Now if only they would change their minds and rehire Matt Ashford.
May 30, 2012 at 3:41 pm #33350PattiParticipantMaybe Ian will be the one who shot Stefano, and that could be his exit story. Wait …. what am I saying? Who gets an exit story these days? The SOD article simply says the character of Ian has been written out, and that Sarah Brown (Madison) will last air on August 15th. In any case, I’m fine with Ian being gone. The character’s appearance never did fit the mold they tried to make him out to be.

May 30, 2012 at 5:59 pm #33355bluebonnetParticipantabout Ian. He hasn’t been on in a while, and his story line seems to have stalled. Ditto for Madison. Guess they are slowly ushering them out the door.
May 31, 2012 at 3:22 am #33365MoGirlParticipantthat is great to hear but I hate it when they do broad sweeps and it sounds like lots of others are out too.
May 31, 2012 at 3:27 am #33366NoraParticipantI know I won’t miss him! I will sort of miss Madison, I kind of liked her with Brady.
May 31, 2012 at 11:27 am #33372BonbonParticipantNot that I ever liked his character but it’ll leave a couple of big holes in the show. Titan CEO, replacement for Stefano as resident villian (?), Kate’s love interest, foil for Brady…
And I hate that Madison is leaving. I liked her from the very beginning and think she fits perfectly with Brady. Poor Brady, there goes another great love for him. Will he EVER be happy?
May 31, 2012 at 11:45 am #33374SWParticipanttoward the younger ‘villians’ – EJ going up against Brady and maybe bringing Philip or Shawn D. back to have the next generation battle it out. I wonder how much longer Chad will hang around once Molly B. leaves?
As to Ian – don’t let the door hit you on the way out- I didn’t like that character at all. Bringing him on ruined more story than it helped. Wish they would rethink the Madison story as she was good with Brady.
May 31, 2012 at 1:53 pm #33377mommytutuParticipantHonestly, what was his purpose? Talk about a useless character. I think the show is making an effort to rid itself of bad writing and characters with no story. I will say I wish Gabi was leaving. She has been a despicable character too.

June 1, 2012 at 1:02 am #3339653tdogsParticipantsince he’s had a lady in his life? And (as much as I love Kate – and yes, I know I will be stoned for that), Kate is no lady! LOL!!! But I could see Roman with her based on years ago and their connection – sans, of course, their wedding from "hell"…
June 1, 2012 at 1:44 am #33399PattiParticipantRoman and Kate shared a scene in the Brady Pub. Roman got somewhat sentimental and told Kate that no matter what, he still cared for her and if there was anytime she needed him, that (let’s say it together) "he would be there for her." That was sort of a foreshadowing to me that, since Ian is leaving, and Stefano will no longer be in her orbit, that this is what the writers will have in mind, and yes, Pammy, it’s been way too long since poor Roman had a love interest.
June 1, 2012 at 11:51 am #33411BonbonParticipantI can’t see Kate "falling" for Roman. He’s got no money, no power, nothing that she requires. He certainly can’t provide the lifestyle she has become accumtomed to. And I don’t see her as the type to settle for "love," she’s much to shallow for that.
