Idiot Sami

makes me cringe about this show. That the cops are presented as such morons. When you take away this amount of common sense/realism, it detracts from the plot and definitely weakens any storyline.
As for Sami and EJ, favoritism from the top is blatantly obvious. They should not be getting this much airtime and so much is repetition.

JS and AS have been working well lately, (hell, I’ve even been enjoying E.J., and that’s saying something for me), so all the rants and all the ravings aren’t going to break them apart.  I personally have learned to accept the fact that Corday, plus Tomlin, plus Whitesell, love Sami and E.J. together, so if EJAMI is where it’s gonna be for them, ok, then, put them together, but KEEP it there.  Let everyone see that this is where they are taking them; BUT, if so, give poor Lucas a break and have Autumn follow him to Salem and fight for her guy, and give poor Rafe somebody to love …. just not Sami.  Give the triangles a rest, if you will. 

What sickens me is the flip-flopping these writers have done with Sami and E.J. ever since E.J. came to Salem in, what, 2006?  No matter how much people try to discredit Sami or E.J., believe me when I tell you, it’s not going to sway TPTB.  Know why?  There’s too many fans rooting for them than there are against them.  And if that’s the way it has to be, then bring it.  I just want to see good stories being written from now on, effectively portrayed by good actors (with a little afternoon delight thrown in here and there), and the rest will fall in place.  I have never approved of E.J.  Some would even say I despised him.  And, they’d be right.  I will, however, stand my ground and deny, deny, deny that their current relationship has all been about Sami chasing E.J., because that is bullsh*t, pure and simple.  E.J. Wells DiMera has been in love with Sami ever since he came to town on Stephano’s orders to impregnate a Brady.  What Stefano did NOT count on was him falling in love with her.  Since then they have BOTH done rotten things to one another, yet they keep finding ways to remain in each other’s orbit.  If they go there again, fine, I can force myself to live with it because I love this show so much, but for all the tea in England, please stop with the Sami ranting and that it’s all her fault.  E.J. sure doesn’t appear to be running the hell away from her, now does he?  I don’t know what’s worse for me ….. watching them reunite this couple or reading the rantings of those who spew the venom only in Sami’s face.  That’s nuts!

ARE E.J. AND SAMI MENTALLY DEFECTIVE BECAUSE THEY CAN’T SEEM TO STAY AWAY FROM EACH OTHER?  Damn straight they are; but, hey, if anyone stops to think about it, this love/hate relationship between them isn’t something new ….. it’s actually the true feelings that both of them have tried to suppress over the years.  Daaayyyum, they even tried to actually kill one another (or at least kill who they thought were their rivals at the time).  I, myself, have despised E.J. for many years, but I’ve learned to live with the fact that he is a core character on DOOL, as is Sami, and fortunately there are many more who love him and Sami, whether individually or apart, than hate them.  Message boards only display a tiny portion of the millions of people who watch soaps, sort of like a flea on an elephant’s …… well, you get what I mean.  So, my advice …. face it, they’re here to stay, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the rest of the show.

 I agree with you Patti, that TPTB really love putting EJ and Sami together. So I guess we have to get use to it,but that doesn’t mean we have to like it.  

However, I disagree with you that EJ loves Sami. I have never liked EJ and I don’t think I ever could. I feel that EJ is pure evil, and that he has love for no one. I don’t take his flirtations with Sami as proof of his interest in her. I take it as his overall need to be in control. He can turn off his affection in a heartbeat. That is not love, it is a game for him to prove that he is irresistable to Sami. He makes fun of her and Lucas and throws it in her face. She crumbles like a school girl. That is what I hate most. Sami use to be feisty and would never put up with cra*.  Now she melts in his presence.  If TPTB insist on putting them together, I hope that they don’t throw away Lucas, but give him a story of his own.

I don’t see how Allison can like how Sami is now, but it is a job. 

If TPTB want Sami and EJ than they can say goodbye to me.  The show is already centered around those two and if they become "the couple" the show will revolve around them even more.  They make the whole rest of the show uninteresting.  They aren’t romantic …they are actually sick, disturbing and gross.  So no I won’t accept it and I will walk away.  I did before and only came back for the reset and how stupid of me to think the show would get better. Shame on me.

I agree and disagree with all of you!! I DO NOT want EJ and Sami together. Id much rather her be with lucas or rafe, now that Carrie and Austin are gone!!!!! ( best of luck to them!!) but happy they are gone!!! But as I was saying, try all their might or Sami just resist with every fiber of her being, they are attracted to one another! any one can see it, and I must say they are good at it!!!! you could tell by the look on her face. As much as I don’t want them together, there certainly is some sexual tension between them!! I did enjoy watching them today in the cop shop, he would nuzzle in her neck and she would roll her eyes and push him away!
