was anyone watching Jeopardy yesterday and today? The woman who won yesterday had a very strange vocal style…it almost sounded as if she were singing the last syllable of her words…four thousaundddduh. And again, I found it very annoying, LOL.

Sorry, but I think I’d have to slap her if I had to listen to that all day. I certainly hope she’s not in customer service.

I do not mean to be critical, but I do believe she could work on improving that, as it is very distracting.

I was wondering if it was some kind of speech impediment or something because certainly someone must have brought it to her attention to work on, especially if she does any kind of trial work. It was just so very strange. I’m glad others noticed it too, and yes, it is VERY annoying.

I’m going to google her and see if I can find anything someone might have found out about it.

Well, not much available except how annoying she is to everybody. Many are claiming upspeak but that definitely isn’t what she is doing, she is drawing out the end of each word almost like a song. Someone PLEASE find out what’s going on here and let us know. I’ve never heard anything like that.

this morning. Apparently she’s had this effect on the whole internet. It seems, according to their story on her, that no one can stand the way she talks. She’s from Georgia too. Not the southern accent I’m used to, that’s for sure.
