I have to say that Madison plays the executive businesswoman very well. (Sami, not so much.) Her words and actions are just right for a person in her position. But I can see her hesitance in giving up Mad World to run Titan. I don’t seeing it far being fetched offering her the CEO job as she came to Titan with an excellent reputation and fully capable of handling the job.
I hope she accepts the job because she’ll be great at it. The only problem is is that it’s going to severly limit her time with Brady…and he with her. Both of them will be in a position of 80-hour work weeks if they are going to be successful. Oh, dear. Maybe that’s one way to keep them together, limit the time they have to spend together.
And I do so hope they keep them together as they are so natural and at ease with each other. I really, really like this pairing. But I AM wondering who this person on the phone is. It doesn’t seem to be someone she doesn’t like but someone she admires and depends on for advice. I’m still thinking it’s going to be a family member.

January 12, 2012 at 3:53 pm #30363layseaParticipantFor some reason I think she maybe connected to Quinn, he also use to talk to someone on the phone and we didn’t know who it was. I think maybe a takeover of Titan is in the works!!
January 12, 2012 at 4:30 pm #30365caseyParticipantalthough it could be Madison might be turning over a new lead in Salem but her past comes back to haunt her?
January 12, 2012 at 5:39 pm #30369PattiParticipantbut from the way Madison is reacting to Brady now, I can’t help but wonder if she’s truly falling for him, and her previous reasons for coming to Salem are no longer what they once were, and that she will be placed in a position where she will be forced to do some things she may no longer want to do. I do agree that the mystery phone conversations leave me no choice but to believe she is in cahoots with someone who will be making her business decisions for her. I hope I’m wrong, but I’m more inclined now to believe it’s Titan rather than Countess W. that she and her cohort(s) will be after. I’m guessing that Victor putting Madison in a position of "top dog" at Titan will be one he lives to regret.
January 13, 2012 at 10:42 am #30391BonbonParticipantVictor just handed it to her on a platter. As CEO, she’s pretty much in charge.
No, I don’t think that at all. (Unless you have some spoilers, Patti.) And I don’t think she is going to be a "bad guy." I think she’s really conflicted (and I can understand this) about the prospect of being CEO of such a large company and giving up control of her "baby" that she’s built with blood, sweat, and tears. I hope I’m not wrong.
January 13, 2012 at 8:33 pm #30414PattiParticipantbecause I really like Madison, and Sarah Brown is doing a great job with the character. I especially love her with Brady. I’m just nervous about these mysterious phone calls and her insistence that this person not come to Salem for fear he/she will "spoil" everything she (Madison) has planned. Now, that could be an either/or situation, i.e., Titan or Countess W; is it Kate or is it Stefano …. or …. is it Victor. I agree Madison is now very conflicted, since she seems to have developed very genuine feelings for Brady, so let’s not let on to these writers just how much we like them together, or we’ll lost them for sure. LOL!
