OK – we’ve had so much fun with the "How long have you watched Days" question and I certainly learned a lot of history from all of your answers. I thought this is the best way I can learn about the show – from the die-hard fans who have been watching a very long time. So I thought with this question so I could learn more about "Days".
Goodness knows that there have been quite a few SL duds that we’ve all said to ourselves "That’s IT – I refuse to watch anymore!" But we’re all still here, so let’s have fun!
My vote goes to "The Garden of Eden" story line – it wasn’t a long story line but it was painful!
Yep, Garden of Eden – who on earth could think up such boring absurdity?!
Also, the alien twins was ridiculous.Thats exactly what I was going to say, The garden of edan story line was redicilous. Absoutely incredibly stupid! Alot of people didnt like the possession sl, but I still think the garden of edan was the absolute worst EVER!
the worst although I hated my favorite couple having that stupid flying bed! The story with Marlena being the killer of half of Salem was another grand turkey of a story though too.
Definitely the Garden of Eden. Absolute stupidity! I loved the character of Greta and thought she had great chemistry with Austin but that was the worst storyline ever. I felt sorry for both of the actors having to endure it!
The 2nd worst was Marlena the serial killer killing off half of Salem and then they all ended up alive in Melaswen (New Salem spelled backwards). I was so mad that they killed off all the greatest characters. I have to say I was glad they all came back but what a dumb storyline to begin with!
How about the ‘alien’ twins arriving in Salem who turned out to be Roman and Kate’s? I hate all the sci-fi stuff as well as Marlena being posessed. It’s hard enough to buy into kids growing up in 5 years, nevermind science fiction!
I remember them! And then they just went away almost as quickly as they showed up! Maybe they were really alien!
I musta blacked out on that one or FF’d or it was before my time? What the heck happened on that one to whom?
Garden of Eden has to top the list. But the alien twins have to be close.
Then there are all of the whose your daddy story lines. Not over the top just overdone.
Those 2 story lines were so outrageous. The Garden of Eden just could not hold my interest; it was so dumb.

When Mike and Carrie made love after she decided to dump Austin – in Las Vegas. It should have been a great thing for the Mike and Carrie fans but instead it was stupid!
but was forced by those in power to have them return. I guess it was his way of getting rid of those actors he no longer wanted to write for. He would have totally ruined the show as we knew it.
I agree with all of the above but would like to add the storyline of the implant in the tooth. That was beyond ridiculous. And the Princess Gina storyline went on waaaaay to long and became a joke.
