… but Garden of Eden was the one I just could not bear to watch.

January 4, 2010 at 9:04 pm #9189IzzyBParticipantbefore reading your answer one SL popped into my head, and that was the garden of Eden. Had to be the worse SL in history.
January 4, 2010 at 9:07 pm #9190IzzyBParticipantTo me that was the most stupid scene ever on days. It is funny, that scene popped in my head too when this topic came up. Funny how many of us think alike in some respects.
January 4, 2010 at 9:09 pm #9191IzzyBParticipantI would agree with you. But how it turned out I thought it was a good SL. Anything is possible when Stephano is involved. Too many crazy SLs with him to actually select a bad one.

Marlena being serial killer only to have it be a trick and the victims on the island, still alive.
Jan having Shawn in the cage for a whole summer!
The gemini twins, although, I would like it if Cassie and Rex were to return someday, they’re never mentioned and it’s like they never existed!
January 5, 2010 at 4:29 am #9202Ms. JakeParticipantHands down " the Garden of Eden" although the sl with Stefano dressing up like Elvis to conceive a child with Susan Banks doesn’t rank high in my book either!
January 5, 2010 at 4:57 am #920453tdogsParticipantone for the books too! As much as I love my show, there are times I would not want to tell my friends who don’t watch the show what I’m watching when I think of some of the stories. They just wouldn’t understand…
January 5, 2010 at 2:44 pm #9212imported_JennMParticipantI hated the Possession storyline, but I’ve read Deidre Hall saying it was her fave of all time. I tuned out during that after Mardevil desecrated the Church. Totally not for me, that.
I pretty much missed the Garden of Eden/Alien Twins storylines, I tuned out shortly before those occurred.
There have been plenty of unbelievable storylines – some were really good, some really stunk. Unbelievable (in terms of real life) isn’t necessarily a bad thing if it’s done well. Unfortunately most aren’t done well these days.
I’m actually watching again – curious about who Carly’s daughter is (that’s believable) and waiting to see Melanie implode if she actually goes through with marrying Phillip – also believable.

That was such a heartbreak for me — I was sooooo mad at the writers! Another story line that I absolutely hated was the introduction of Kimberly being raped by her uncle which dug up a new personality that spoiled all that was going good in her life.
Hands down… garden of eden was off the wall! Yep, the twinners landing on earth was way out there too! But I have to add the story line where Marlena’s old college romance returned to Salem to stalk her. That was such a travesty to use Wayne Northrop that way!
January 5, 2010 at 8:29 pm #9226luckeyParticipantLee DuMond in ages! The actress was Brenda Benet and she was once married to Bill Bixby. I believe she committed suicide in real life. I remember feeling very sad about that as I thought she was a very good actress and so beautiful.
January 5, 2010 at 8:59 pm #9229SWParticipantperformance on the show and how they did a quick rewrite of her leaving town or something like that. She didn’t look right in those last shows. I remember there were actors that were totally shocked and didn’t realize how depressed she was over her son’s death.
January 5, 2010 at 9:02 pm #9230SWParticipantjust weird! We had never heard of him before. When she was with Don, I’m surprised it didn’t come out.
I also remember hating it when they turned Evan Whyland into a bad guy.
