Sami is now the mother figure on Days. Mrs. Horton is gone and Marlena(who I thought might replace Alice Horton) is in Europe, probably for good; so Sami needs a replacement for role of really bad girl. It looks like Mia has gone to the dark side from the shock of losing her baby daughter. Stephanie is also losing her moral center since boyfriends are falling away from her. Now Nicole is returning from prison and she has learned some prison tricks, I’m sure. Who will be the bad one now? My money is on Mia.
"Mother of the Year Award", I’ve seen snakes who have better mothering instincts than Samantha Jean. I’d rather have Hope or Lexi or a substitute mom like Maggie for Salem’s "mother" figure. Nicole will be the baddy for a long time coming in getting her revenge on everyone and Vivy is still in the running in that category right behind her. Mia is a snotty, pouty, conniving litte girl. Stephanie is just peevish and petulant.
There is no way under the sun that Sami could become "Mother of the Year". That will never happen. Maggie is the only one now that dear Alice is gone, that could possibly become the matriarch(?) for Days.
Speaking of Maggie – Melanie loves her so much. You can tell by the way she interacts with Maggie. I wish everyone would quit pushing Melanie to "give Carly a chance". Let Melanie alone and let her be with Maggie and enjoy being with someone who does truly love her like a mother.
On Another World, Rachel started out as the bad girl – very bad girl. But he married Mac and became the heroine/mother of the show. I think it can happen with Sami too. Maybe Rafe is Sami’s Mac.
she is surrounded by so many children and everyone keeps saying she is such a good mother. The writers must be pushing her into the role of "good mother". But I must say that as soon as she got Sydney back she dumped her onto several different people. If my kidnapped baby had just returned I would let her out of my sight for months, maybe years.
that Samantha’s middle name is Gene. If I recall from many years ago, she is named after the character Eugene Bradford.
