This girl flits from one Salem bachelor to another in record time and I really can’t stand her. No depth to this character at all and she can be devious as well. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.
November 22, 2009 at 3:35 pm #7803imported_JennMParticipantApparently not. I haven’t watched much in the last year, until lately – but when I was watching before she was with Max. Then I took a break and she was with Phillip but trying to "fix" him (that never ends well)… now she’s lusting after Nathan?
Seems she likes them best when they are already with somebody else.

November 22, 2009 at 4:45 pm #7805PattiParticipantIt’s no secret to my Annex friends that I DO NOT care for Stefanie, even a little bit, although I do think she looks best with Philip. She needs a complete overhaul for my money. This cat and mouse game she’s playing with Melanie is putting her further and further into my dislike column. She’s determined to take Nathan away from Melanie, but I’m hoping Nathan will see through her scheme. Even though it’s obvious that Mel still has hidden feelings for Philip, it looks like she’s trying to get him out of her system, and realizes that she’s better off with Nathan, but I’m sure Stephanie will do everything in her power to break them up. Philip needs to find someone closer to his own age and stay away from Mel, but I don’t see that happening either.
November 22, 2009 at 5:26 pm #7806justwonderingParticipantStephanie only wants what she doesn’t have. She was crazy about Philip until they became engaged. then all she wanted to do was change him. Now she is interested in Nathan. I think it is more about taking him away from Mel. I do believe if she saw Mel with Phil, she would go after Phil again. She is a mixer and a trouble maker.
November 22, 2009 at 6:01 pm #7808NoraParticipantPut me in the column that hates Stephanie. She gets on my last nerves. She reminds me alot of Hope. Thinks she’s holier than thou. I like Mel alot, either with Phil or with Nathan. I think they need to get rid of Stephanie all together. I doubt we would miss this character.
November 22, 2009 at 6:32 pm #7812DebbiParticipantI agree and really don’t like the Stephanie character at all. I did like Stephanie with Max. When Melanie first came on, I really disliked her character as well, but now I love her! It was the same with Chelsea. I miss Chelsea!

November 22, 2009 at 9:57 pm #7816SWParticipantthat the writers can’t figure out who she has chemistry with. Maybe she doesn’t really have it with any of the guys on there now?
November 22, 2009 at 11:05 pm #7817loritrollParticipantTotally agree. I think they don’t know who she works with yet, so they are trying different people with her. I think they need to overhaul the character a bit and bring in someone new, because I like the way Nathan and Melanie are beginning their relationship and I’d like to see them get a chance. Stephanie should just back off. She’s trying to be subtle, but she’s not.
November 22, 2009 at 11:31 pm #7822daysfanforeverParticipantI really hate that she’s all over Nathan. I really like Nathan and Melanie and both Stephanie and Philip are messing that up!!
November 23, 2009 at 12:23 am #7828GoodyParticipantThe character Stefanie is just a waste of airtime as far as I am concerned. She has few, if any, morals. She reminds me of a "Kate in training".
November 23, 2009 at 12:29 am #7829devorrahParticipantI like Stephanie because she is a family member of the Bradys. She has had her problems but at least she got her education, got a good job and is taking care of herself. I feel she has high moral expectations due to being raised by Kayla on her own. She did love Phillip but discovered his family dealings were more than she could ever accept. Anyone would do the same no matter how attractive the guy is because accepting him meant accepting everything his family did. Then when she met Nathan she saw an intelligent, adorable, highly moral upstanding guy from a great family. No wonder she started to like him. They have a nice chemistry and I would rather see her with Nathan anyday than that mess Melanie who is a very mixed up young lady due to the way she was raised by her idiot horrible father. Melanie has a long way to go in finding herself before she lets any guy in her life.
November 23, 2009 at 6:07 pm #7857DCola522ParticipantI also liked her with Max… in the beginning. I think it had to do with the fact that she was still with Jeremy when she and Max were first interested in each other, so it created that whole ‘forbidden’ type of relationship. It was exciting, but after a while I didn’t really care if they ended up together or not. Was also never crazy about her with Philip either. I think she needs someone older… how about EJ?!?! Now THAT would be interesting! Falling for the guy who kidnapped her!
November 23, 2009 at 11:21 pm #7867GoodyParticipantHigh moral expectations??!! Have you forgotten the way she behaved with Jeremy Horton? She was all over him and ‘flying high’ and misbehaving in every way possible. She was also encouraging Chelsea to join her in her misbehavior. The only difference now is that she has become sneakier and not so blatant. JMHO
November 24, 2009 at 1:05 am #7868loritrollParticipantNo offense, but PLEASE don’t let her hook up with EJ!! If she had an issue with Phillip’s business workings, I can’t imagine the complaining we’d hear from her about EJ! And, honestly, I am sooo over her complaining about the guys she is with. They need to bring someone new for her, because I can’t think of anyone on the show right now that is a good match for her.
November 24, 2009 at 4:00 am #787253tdogsParticipantI totally disliked Melanie when she first came on…FF’d through hours of the show then…but now she’s kind of grown on me ~ and I’m more Marlena’s and Hope’s age group – I think that Phillip and Mel are a match made in perverbial Day’s heaven if they are given a chance to develop together sort of like the early Bo and Hope. Bo is older than Hope so Phillip isn’t too old for Mel really.
