Does Victor really mean it that he’s giving the trucking business to Clyde? And what about the drug business? Is/was Victor still into it. I thougth that EJ got out of the drug business for the sake of his children.
February 18, 2015 at 11:17 am #46538PattiParticipantI think he wants to make Clyde think that, but I really doubt Clyde will get out of this one, especially since he was so brazen with allowing Victor to realize that he, in fact, was the one who stabbed Sonny. I’m anxious to see what Vic has in mind for Rafe. I really like GG, so I’m looking forward to Rafe getting involved, if that’s where these writers are going, but in no way do I believe Victor will walk away from this and hand everything over to Clyde.
February 18, 2015 at 2:35 pm #46540caseyParticipantI will be very disappointed. I don’t want him to back down or give in to anyone. Especially that snake Clyde. I’m hoping Victor will bring down Clyde bigtime.

February 19, 2015 at 7:23 am #46545BonbonParticipantGood grief, look what he did to the loan sharks who were after his son (geeze, can’t remember his name now) when he burned down their house. Certainly he won’t let Sonny’s attack go unrevenged…at least I hope not. I hope this is just a ruse to put Clyde off his guard.
February 19, 2015 at 10:02 pm #46555bradysgmaParticipantIs or was Victor into selling drugs? Did he get out of that business? Didn’t EJ "give" the drug pushing to someone else before he left the show? All of a sudden, it seems like Clyde is doing all the drug selling. Who was doing the drug trade before he came to town?
February 21, 2015 at 6:12 am #46566BonbonParticipantany drug business. That was just what was conjured up in the viewers minds because the talk about turf, etc. and what the writers were hinting about. I don’t remember anything actually being said about there being drugs involved at all.
February 21, 2015 at 1:37 pm #46574PattiParticipanthe got contacts from Victor after Sami froze all of his assets, and Clyde worked for E.J. Then E.J. got mad when Clyde started making more money by selling drugs closer to Salem and E.J. threatened Clyde that he would take him out of business if he continued to distribute in Salem, which is why Clyde’s man (formerly on the DiMera payroll) took E.J. out instead. But, E.J. got the names of the drug people from Victor, who had it first and foremost (back with Stefano DiMera). That’s why I wish Stefano would come back soon and from what I can see, both John Aniston and Joe Mascolo are quite capable of acting out a good villain. Now that I think I would love to see. Clyde tried to kill Sonny, and he certainly had a hand in E.J.’s death, even if it wasn’t on the trigger at the time. So much potential there.
