I’m sorry, but this just struck me as funny. Did anybody else notice that while in Heaven, she changed her hair color?LOL
October 20, 2010 at 6:45 pm #1720853tdogsParticipantno more bad hair days!
October 20, 2010 at 10:31 pm #17227caseyParticipantToo dark and made her look older. Of course, we haven’t seen her in years and people age, but I felt both the color and style did nothing for her.
October 21, 2010 at 12:08 pm #17231BonbonParticipantyou got older in Heaven either. Isabella certainly did. You’re right, her hair certainly was not flattering. What a shame that’s all we can comment about her, isn’t it?
I find it a little strange that Brady’s devotion to his mother is so strong when he never even knew her. And why didn’t she say anything to him about his drinking. Yes, I know his addiction was to drugs but when you’re a substance abuser you can’t use ANY substance…at all!
October 21, 2010 at 12:48 pm #17233caseyParticipantIt is very strange this “bond” he has with Izzy and talks with her like he interracted with her all his life. I don’t remember how much we saw John talking to Brady about her. Maybe Brady had such an emotional need for her he’s made up this perfect mother/son relationship? Didn’t Brady go through a bad patch w/ stepmom Marlena? I remember it being pretty contrived.
October 21, 2010 at 12:58 pm #17234NoraParticipantOh yeah, you dont remember what a spoiled brat Brady was when he first came? He was so mean to Marlena, up in his room blasting his music and being a total bastard to her. He wasnt much nicer to John either I think.
October 21, 2010 at 1:17 pm #17235PattiParticipantmade her appear more ‘ghostly.’ They should have put her in some sort of mist or special lighting, or something to that effect. She looked more like she was alive and well and still living in Salem. I thought the white outfit they had on her made her look like she was in a choir; then I read an article that said she had some throat surgery shortly before filming, and wanted something high on her neck to cover the scar. In any event, and no disrespect to Stacy, she just did not look like Isabella to me.
October 21, 2010 at 1:25 pm #17237mommytutuParticipantIt was much softer looking. The dark is so harsh. And yes, she should have looked more ethereal or filmy. That would have kept the audience from noticing she got older–as all real people do.
October 21, 2010 at 3:44 pm #1724453tdogsParticipanthaving to wear white robe in heaven or it not being fashionable – but getting older? Noooooooooooooooooooooo! Not my idea of heaven. I’m suppose to look about 27-35 and skinny with no grey hair!
October 21, 2010 at 8:34 pm #17251BonbonParticipantI hated Brady when he first came on and I even hated Kyle Lowder and thought he was a terrible actor. Then, all of a sudden, for whatever reason, they turned him around and…surprise!…Kyle became a very good actor and I loved Brady. That taught me a very valuable lesson to not judge a new character until I get to know them.
October 21, 2010 at 10:33 pm #1725353tdogsParticipantI didn’t like Mel at all. Now she is tolerable as long as she doesn’t do that cutiespie little girl stuff. Stephanie, I liked as the red haired race car driver, but since the actress switch and the "college" dorm days, never one of my favorites (in fact, she is a dis-favorite if I can twist the word here).
Back in the day of Days, I used to detest Stephano too, even Kate however, is tolerable to me now. Of course we all didn’t like Alan (and what he did to Sami) – <EJ is an entirely different matter for me so we won’t even go there> and Trent wasn’t a likable or redeemable character. So yes Bonbon, you are very correct, sometimes the new character’s need a chance to develope and age, (like fine wine) before we like/love and "love to hate" them.
October 22, 2010 at 9:26 am #17274SWParticipantin real life I think she’s still too young to be his mother! As to aging in heaven, hmmm, nope, not in my Heaven!
October 22, 2010 at 7:54 pm #17291majencoParticipantI agree about the hair color. I thought her face looked lovely though. I don’t think she has aged badly at all. Now if you want to keep the "heavenly" illusion going she should look the way she did when Brady was born because that’s how he would remember her from pictures when she was younger.
