away! Jack was okay when he first started on the show but as he’d been on longer, he just seemed to stay stuck in the goofy boy syndrome type.

eom
October 13, 2011 at 2:25 am #27521cornbreadParticipantI am ready for Jack to be kidnapped again…or held hostage. Or move to Alaska. Anything but staying in Salem. I ff’d through his scenes now. That’s the only time I touch the button anymore!
October 13, 2011 at 8:52 am #27528BonbonParticipantthere was WAY too much Jack and Jen. I was getting tired of their conversation.
Jen is doing him no favors by trying to help him. If she doesn’t want him back she should stay far away from him with no contact at all. Let him figure out his relationship with Abby. She is only encouraging him.
October 13, 2011 at 1:13 pm #27536PattiParticipantJack is still Jack in more ways than not, but it was obvious to me that Jennifer is still in love with him and that she’s battling her inner demons where his actions are concerned. I have no doubt they will reunite at some point; I just hope it’s not too soon. He needs time to let his actions sink in where his family’s lost love for him is concerned, and if Jen takes him back too quickly, he will never his realize his mistakes, nor will he learn from them. Daniel, I’m afraid, will be the one to get hurt the most from this.
October 13, 2011 at 2:12 pm #27543caseyParticipantand I’ve made a couple comments this is my early beef w/the new writers: long-winded conversations that are reptitious and leave me feeling restless. J&J did not need to go on and on yesterday. Airtime could be utilized more effectively.
October 16, 2011 at 5:46 pm #27654IzzyBParticipantI have thought the conversations have not repeated at all. They all seem to be fresh and new. The old writers did that all the time and it drove me crazy. I sometimes thought they said the SAME lines in three conversations in a row. But I have not seen that with the new writers. Stories are moving at a good pace and new things are coming up in all the SLs. Like with Jack he finally understands why everyone is upset, he has calmed down.
Now i think Jen is getting a little confused a little too much. But we will see where this is all going.
October 16, 2011 at 8:37 pm #2765653tdogsParticipantfor two weeks of shows now, (since I’m watching again), it was the same ol’l same ol’ conversation between the two…Wonder how long the writer’s will keep it up, you know they are angling J&J down the "back together again" chute, but why subject us fans to rinse and repeat? Put them together already. It’s like they have to do a mini-triangle between Dr. Surfer Boy, Jack and Jen first before they can justify them as a legit couple once more.
And speaking of J&J: Some one else (was that you Bonbon???), mentioned that Jennifer completes every sentence when she is speaking to Jack with – "…Jack." I hadn’t really paid attention but it’s true. Just rewound, it’s true, nearly every sentence is stated with his name on the end of her sentences. Stop it writers. We know who Jennifer is carrying on a conversation with…if there are fans new to the show…let them learn on their own what the characters names are, don’t bore or irrate the rest of us – nobody speaks like that.
October 17, 2011 at 11:23 am #27666BonbonParticipantthat mentioned it. I’m not sure it’s the writers though because she has always done it. The first time I noticed it was when she was with Frankie. She said his name at the end of every sentence too.
October 17, 2011 at 3:42 pm #27682IzzyBParticipantI thought their conversations have new things in it. Like this last conversation Jack seemed to calm down, open up, and realize how much he might have hurt his family. Jenn saw a new side of him that tells her maybe he has changed. They also talked about Abigail and Chad more and Jack realized that he might have handled that really wrong, which before he was just going down the path of he needs to stop Abigail from seeing Chad. I have not seen the repeat dialog you all are talking about.
October 17, 2011 at 5:07 pm #27685DeeLanParticipantI didn’t see the repeat dialogue but I did see the conversation seemed to go on forever and the topic was always the same but I guess that’s to be expected since they were discussing him leaving and how Abby feels.
October 17, 2011 at 11:57 pm #2769753tdogsParticipantShe’ll end up saying "…that’s a fact, Jack"! I’m sorry. I’m tired. Too much unpacking.
