I expected Clyde to go out via a bullet (perhaps Days may bring him back at some point?) but his final scenes with Ben were truly gripping. James’ portrayal of the skanky, creepy Clyde were as good as it gets from a villain and Ben lived up to the last dramatic exchanges as well.
I have thoroughly enjoyed JR, such a pro, and though won’t miss Clyde I will miss the actor’s wonderful performances.October 20, 2015 at 10:41 pm #49124PattiParticipanthats off to both of these terrific actors. I think they are the best villains DOOL has seen in quite some time. The way Clyde was completely in the dark about his son committing these murders was obviously a shock to him, and he played it to the hilt, IMO. The final scenes when the officers were tearing them apart was riveting. Ben explaining each murder and how and why he did it, accompanied by the flashbacks, was really good. It was obvious to me that Clyde had absolutely no knowledge just how sick his boy was, and it shocked him to his very core. I don’t know if they will bring James Read back, but they certainly made a fantastic find in this man, and although we have all pretty much thought RSW’s portrayal at first was very wooden, he certainly grew into the role and I admire the transition he’s made from a Price Is Right model to such a great actor. In the words of the fabulous Jennifer Lopez, "they gave me goosies!" Wonderful work by both of these men.

Does anyone know for how long Robert is under contract?
October 21, 2015 at 2:25 pm #49136MKParticipantI remember seeing James Read on Remington Steele in the 80’s. He played the secretary or something similar to one. I think he was only on for one season or so before Doris Roberts took over. I think that’s how it happened anyway.
October 21, 2015 at 2:41 pm #49137PattiParticipantof the Halliwell sisters on Charmed.
October 21, 2015 at 3:06 pm #49140bluebonnetParticipantbut James Read also played the unforgettable character of George Hazzard on the TV mini-series, North and South.
October 21, 2015 at 8:36 pm #49143caseyParticipanta lot of acting credits. And I believe he’s been married to his fellow actress in North and South for more than 25 years. Good for him!
October 21, 2015 at 9:34 pm #49147PattiParticipantthe James Read pics from the miniseries North and South? He was one helluva’ hunk back then, and still is a really good looking man tody.

October 22, 2015 at 2:45 am #49156PattiParticipantI tape them and catch up with them throughout the day. Right now we’re in the year 2000, when Leo gave up his powers, and Phoebe is with Greg Vaughan. WOW was this guy ever at an "ugly" stage in his life? I think not; he was born beautiful! LOL!
October 22, 2015 at 3:00 am #49157TFlo1018ParticipantYou mean Piper That was season 2 I believe. He had some GREAT hair then. I believe he was Dan on the show. Ah thank you TNT for the reruns LOL
October 22, 2015 at 10:20 am #49158PattiParticipantI still get the 3 P’s mixed up to this day! LOL!
October 23, 2015 at 4:26 pm #49185TopazParticipantOctober 24, 2015 at 1:56 pm #49189BonbonParticipantThat can’t be the same guy. What a hunk! Maybe it’s just his demeanor that makes him not as attractive. If he were a nice guy…well, who knows?
