“Days” fans, head on over to http://www.jason47.com and watch Episode # 3, now available for the first time since its original airing 48 years ago on November 10, 1965!
Watch as a bratty teenage Julie (Charla Doherty) argues with her parents, Ben (Robert Knapp) and Addie (Patricia Huston), over her stealing a mink from a department store (which she did in the pilot episode). Plus, see a young John Clarke (Mickey) and Marie Cheatham (Marie).
No, that’s not Macdonald Carey doing the familiar opening, but announcer Ed Prentiss, who did the opening from November 1965-March 1966.
Be sure to watch the end credits too, and look for “Days” co-creators Ted Corday and Irna Phillips.
