I am so sick of them bringing back classic characters and then giving them crummy storylines! What is going on with Jennifer? She is helping Bo and Hope? Is she breaking up with Jack? What’s up with her and the Dr.? Get this whole mess moving already! We hardly ever see her. They brought Kayla back and totally ruined her personality! Where the heck is Justin now that Adrianne is back? What a waste of great characters!
if they ever brought back my beloved J&M that it would be just horrible, after seeing what they’ve done to Adrianne and Justin. They were both "superstars" before my time on the show, but their legacy from what I’ve read from you guysies and other places is great. Now they are just "fluff" characters (as I call them).
And Jennifer? She used to be the "IT" girl (woman) on Day’s, now just the same, hit and miss – just when I think they are going to utilize Jennifer and get her rolling in a story line – pffffffffffffft – nothing. And yet, they are bringing back Kinsey??? GMaBigFriggin’B!!!
(I have to ennuciate my acromyms)…If Days is suffering from budget woes, why bring back former stars to have them do nothing? I don’t even care about Justin and Adrienne anymore since they’ve been sidelined from the getgo. Cut players if they’re not doing anything and let the writers concentrate on fewer characters but better stories.
it could be they’ve brought back these past characters just to please us fans. But, because of the tight budget, they’ve only brought them back in a diminished role, one that they can still afford yet one the actors are willing to work for. ‘Nother words, if they used them more, they’d have to pay a higher salary. Possible?
I can’t stand that character!!! She is a waste of space that could be spent on a returning core character!! And you are right, they do turn returning character in to Fluff!!!! I hate to think what they well do to John and Marlene if they return.
they figured the draw of the old favs would lure in more viewers. But it has no payoff if they’re not utilized.
characters back to "please" us fans. What I wanna inquire is – Is anybody pleased out there or are we just teased????
If they are going to bring back our favs then why not save them up for a longer block of the story? Have a rockin’ and rollin’ story line for three days of Jennifer, where she’s doing something besides walking around and looking in a file – then don’t have her on for a week or how ever long it is for the show to save up it’s pennies and then continue on with her in another long viewing block. This 30 seconds of seeing them here and 2 minutes there is just aggravating when trying to enjoy a character and their story line.
