I really liked the scenes between Jennifer and Abby today. They always portray a realistic mother daughter relationship. Jennifer always has the ability to let Abby speak her mind, but also insists on respecting her father no matter what. I appreciate that.
When Jennifer tells Abby that she reminds me of my grandmother. My grandfather left my grandmother and 10 kids and never looked back. He lived a few blocks from them with his wife and "new" kids. My mom told me my grandmother always told them that no matter what the problems were between her and their father they were to remember that he is their father and they are to treat him with respect.
