I don’t get why Jennifer feels that she has to step in and "save" Daniel from Nicole. Last time I checked, Daniel was a big boy who can decide for himself what he wats to do. Jennifer has NO claim on Daniel, and it is really none of her business what he does. She is acting like a jealous child who cannot stand to see Nicole and Daniel together. I realize that Nicole is very good at manipulating people, but it is still Daniel’s choice.
I thought Jennifer was way out of line today. She is butting in to something that is not her concern. Her defense that she is saving Daniel from Nicole is not her place. And she is playing right into Niocle’s hands.
October 4, 2012 at 3:32 am #35722caseyParticipantThis is not normal behavior and maybe it’s somehow aligned with her abrupt loss of Jack. We’ve all noticed that she barely seems to be grieving and maybe trying to “save” Daniel is a misguided attempt to do what she couldn’t for Jack? At least if it were it would make her behavior more understandable.
October 4, 2012 at 7:21 am #35725BonbonParticipantto find out that Daniel was not actually sincere saying all the harsh things he did to her. I was hoping he really meant them. It was what she needed to hear. This is just so totally out of character for Jen and I don’t think that’s something that can be blamed on her grieving for Jack.
And then, Nicole got a slap in the face when she heard that he still loves Jen. In spite of her character, I really care for her and wish she could catch a break, either as far as Daniel or the baby is concerned.
October 5, 2012 at 1:28 am #35733PattiParticipantbetter yet, let Daniel suffer the consequences of Nicole’s entrapment. Jennifer’s only concern right now should be Abigail. Still wish she would not have taken her job back at the hospital.
October 5, 2012 at 4:48 am #35737GoodyParticipantwhat is Jennifer’s job, and what are her qualifications? Public relations???
I’m not much liking her behavior right now; I agree that Abigail needs her moms attention and concern now.

October 5, 2012 at 2:35 pm #35747PattiParticipantI’m thinking something like Director of Communications/Dr. Jonas Career Decision Consultant????? LOL! I’d have to tag her "Head Buttinsky."
October 5, 2012 at 5:19 pm #35752cjwestParticipantI don’t know if it has ever been discussed but I assume Jennifer has a degree in journalism. I mean how long does it take to become an MD in Salem. Her experience in newspaper reporting and as a talk show host would certainly qualify for a job in public relations at a hospital.
Jenn is going through some stress disorder over Jack’s death but she has known Nicole for a long time and we all know Nicole is only out for her own gain no matter who else it ruins in the process. she is trying to help Dr Dan but the writers are using her problems to paint her into a corner. It’s only a plot everything always finally goes away on DOOL.
October 5, 2012 at 6:24 pm #35754justwonderingParticipantI agree with you that Nicole is out for her own interests. However, It is none of Jen’s business because Dr. Dan is an adult who pursued Nicole on his own. He went into this relationship with his eyes wide open. He know exactly what Nicole is, but he loves playing the "hero". Nor did he ask for Jen’s intervention to get Nicole away from him.
Jen is concerned what Dan has done something that could destroy his career. Yet she uses HER position to access information under false pretenses. What she did is just as wrong. I just feel that she has no right to get involved.
October 5, 2012 at 9:38 pm #35756caseyParticipantJen has apologized at least twice to Daniel, but five minutes later continues to put her nose where it doesn’t belong.
October 10, 2012 at 2:58 pm #35831justwonderingParticipantI still don’t understand why Jennifer is sticking her nose into Daniel’s life and decision. Again, he is an adult and has the right to do whatever he wants with whomever he wants. Jennifer has become obsessed with Daniel and is almost a stalker!! She definitly need grief therapy for Jack’s death.
October 10, 2012 at 3:03 pm #35832caseyParticipantwe see some cause and effect here, that Jen’s behavior really is tied in with Jack’s death. She continues to acknowledge her actions but keeps right on going. I wonder if Days would ever connect possible mental illness to Jen’s mother.
October 10, 2012 at 3:30 pm #35837BonbonParticipantI don’t know what else he can say to her to butt out of his business that he hasn’t already said. And why does he stand there and listen? He should just walk away from her.
This just seem like Jennifer. I hope it isn’t going to be another character assasination like they did once when they made Maggie such a busybody.
I just want to scream at Jen, PLEASE, stop it!
October 10, 2012 at 7:22 pm #35843rngatorParticipantmade the statement today that she couldn’t save her husband, but she will save daniel. i guess she is feeling guilty about jack’s death.
October 10, 2012 at 8:56 pm #35845justwonderingParticipantI have watched 2 episodes of Vegas and liked it. Not sure it will make it caused it is set in 50s. I kind of like 666 Park Ave, it has possibilites.
Really like Last Resort– cause I like Andre Braugher.
Agree with you aboout Once upon a Time, not as hooked as last year. Still like Revenge,, Blue Bloods and Grimm. Miss Harry’s Law the most of the shows that have gone.
October 10, 2012 at 10:35 pm #35847PattiParticipantin no way is this Jennifer. She as much said it today when she was going off on Brady. Mentioning that she "could not save Jack" but she certainly will save Daniel. She seems to have some deep-routed guilt about not being able to save Jack, which is what she truly believes. I think she genuinely cares about Daniel risking his medical license AND possibly going to jail because of Nicole. What she can’t see is that Daniel is trying to save her as well, but he’s certainly going about it the wrong way. I was totally perturbed with both of them today. But, not nearly as much as I was with Nicole, who knows full well that what she is convincing Daniel to do will certainly ruin him, and she’s still determined to do it. I just wish they would give Jennifer some new lines; she says the same thing(s) over and over again, every single day. I think she’s on the verge of a breakdown, and I can see that coming very soon. Regardless, I hope they put her back together again, soon, because this Jennifer is unwatchable for me.
