Man, Missy is so naturally pretty and they went and did her hair all goofy today. I wish they would STOP trying to make these women look all glamorous when they have such natural beauty. They did it to Ali when Sami got married, they’ve done it to Kristian. Fancier isn’t always best IMHO.
June 2, 2011 at 12:56 am #24141bluebonnetParticipantIt reminds me of my prom. I drove 35 miles to the "big" city and had my hair done up. It looked very stiff and unnatural, just like Jennifer’s. I would have been a lot better off wearing it down and plain. We had a huge wind that night and my hair came all undone anyway. Good thing Jennifer didn’t have to go outside!
June 2, 2011 at 3:04 am #24142PattiParticipantwhich is twice the insult of what they’re trying to make her into because suddenly she’s so insecure about her looks compared to Chloe and Rebecca. Jennifer is convinced that she’s doesn’t meet up to Daniel’s standards in a woman. She’s trying to convince herself to be something or someone totally opposite of who she really is, and all I can see from this ridiculous plot is that when Jack returns, that will be the end of Daniel and Jennifer.
June 2, 2011 at 3:07 am #24143caseyParticipanther. Plus the heavy makeup. I mean she looked gorgeous and I liked the dress, but all I could think of was Jenn playing dressup. At 40 something!
Also odd when as Dan complimented her appearance and she returned it, his look didn’t match hers. She looked like a big night out, while he looked like… well… the same surfer dude Doc Dan.June 2, 2011 at 10:45 am #24148BonbonParticipantshe sure doesn’t seem to age a bit. She looks the same as she did years ago.
And I liked her hair and dress. I think it’s nice to do something for special and and up-do always fits the bill for that. But the make-up was a little heavy.
I thought Dan was a total slob though. They were going to Chez Rouge and he’s got jeans on? And couldn’t he have at least shaved? I understand the casual look these days but, hey, that’s a classy place and he should have at least put a suit on. He looked more like he was going to the Cheatin’ Heart.
June 2, 2011 at 12:39 pm #24151caseyParticipantis this just speculation or a spoiler?

June 2, 2011 at 2:20 pm #24155dvalParticipantI thought the same thing. He looked like he was going for a burger at the Cheatin’ Heart. She looked like well, I don’t know where she was going. I didn’t care for her hair either, it didn’t do anything for her although I did like the dress.
June 2, 2011 at 6:28 pm #24164powerpaw2ParticipantI’ll bet your date thought you were just as lovely with it down. In fact, that’s the way he was used to seeing you and the way you looked for him to be attracted to you in the first place.
June 2, 2011 at 11:14 pm #24178majencoParticipantThat hair made her look like Marge Simpson! Or maybe Bride of Frankenstein!
June 2, 2011 at 11:26 pm #24180bluebonnetParticipantI’m not sure that was the case, but it’s a nice thought anyway!
June 3, 2011 at 2:31 am #24187MoGirlParticipantI thought it was right for the story for Jen to try to fix her self up and thought she looked so pretty.
