She didn’t have an appendectomy the day before.  Nobody stands up out of a chair that fast and that straight after just having had abdomnal surgery…NOBODY!  And I doubt she’d be having any desire to go out galavanting around.  I was only 10 years old and still spent five days in bed.  Even after laproscopic surgery (which she didn’t have), you are still pretty sore.

I was watching that episode and started thinking the same thing.  I had 2 C-sections and know that the next day I did not want to get out of bed, let alone stand up and pick up anything.  Shouldn’t they have kept her in the hospital more then a few hours also??  Especially since it was almost a  DIY operation.

So Jen would have had the old fashioned surgery like mine. That means lots of slow movements and bed rest if not a hospital stay.

as Kate being in a 5-year remission and now cancer free after being diagnosed with 4-stage lung cancer, miraculously saved by Dr. Dan through a bone marrow transplant donated by Chloe Lane, who had her own pre-existing cancer condition at one time, and all the while Kate Roberts was shown in her hospital bed looking like she just stepped out of Vogue.  So, we all must simply keep reminding ourselves that IOASA and leave it at that.

Don’t forget how quickly Jen bounced back from open heart surgery!
