ParticipantJust first impressions but he doesn’t bowl me over. His acting needs some work but how often do we have hesitations about newcomers and then they grow into the role. So I’ll see how it goes.

ParticipantBe their child. He resembles them both. I did see him look into the camera once but after that he was virtually silent so I haven’t formed an opinion just yet. I do usually tire easily of the young/moody teen scene though.

ParticipantBut I agree, the sullen/moody teen thing is old.

ParticipantI think he’s going to be a real handfull and very much a "problem child."

ParticipantWell all the way back to the first episode of days, Julie was caught shoplifting at the fancy department store, so Id say most of the teens on the show had troubled times.

ParticipantBefore John & Marlena went on one of their honeymoons, Brady Black, Belle Black and Shawn Douglas Brady were all youngsters. When J & M came back, all three children had become teens (two in high school and Brady was a college dropout). Brady had a seriously bad attitude, especially toward Marlena.

ParticipantSORASed Ciara will be a real hellion as well, which doesn’t surprise me in the least, after watching Lauren Boles all these years. LOL!

ParticipantI’m sure that every one will blame Ciara’s behavior on the fact that her father left her!! All these teens have the same story, feeling abandoned cause they were sent away to boarding school (JJ, Abigail, Joey), absentee fathers (JJ, Abigail, Joey, Ciara), overindulgent mothers trying to make up for missing fathers (Jen, Kayla, Hope).
I would love to see some teens who act right despite any hardships they encounter. Loads of kids manage to grow up right despite no father!!

ParticipantI’d also like to see someone with a disability show inspiration. Anyone remember the show Life Goes On with Chris Burke w/Down’s Syndrome trying to Mainline it in school? I’d like to see Days tackle something like that.
As for Ciara, she’s been bratty (admittedly portrayed so well) since she was born. And Hope is the consumate enabler.September 3, 2015 at 3:33 am #48225justwondering
ParticipantI think Hope took lessons from "cous Jen"

Participantit’s what’s called a "soap staple" my friends. We don’t have to like it, but we have to live with it!
