Couple is ruined. Niether one would ever get bested by Kristen this way. And to separate over it? Sooooo stupid! If they had ignored her from the beginning none of this would’ve ever happened. Now because they can’t keep their noses out of Brady’s life and let him learn his own lessons they are splitting up? Since when is Marlena threatened by Kristen? As I recall he dumped Kristen’s butt for her. Since when does Marlena not trust John? The whole thing is ridiculous.
John would never do this. I agree about Marlena’s completely falling apart being so totally out of character for her. She would fight Kristen tooth and nail, and win. I’m sort of going with the belief that this is a cover. I know that Drake will definitely be back, which makes it even more believable, to me, anyway, that he does have some sort of a plan in mind, but to not share it with Marlena seems highly incredulous to me. If it were any other couple, then maybe; but not this couple. The two of them (J&M) were the closest thing to Bo and Hope when it came to working together, and I’m just not falling for this complete fail they are trying to perpetrate with this writing. Sorry, but just no!
as wouldn’t it be the biggest revenge on Kristen. And the icing on the cake would be if Brady were in on it too.
I don’t know why they didn’t do what they’re doing with Bo and just not give him any screen time until he returned. This doesn’t make any sense at all. It is SO out of character for both of them.
And, speaking of Bo, are they EVER going to recast him? It’s been long enough.
seems TPTB have waited around for him to make up his mind long enough now. The last interview Peter gave, which was posted on About.com a month or so ago, said that he and his wife and daughter were planning on traveling the long and winding road for an undetermined amount of time. They went to stay with Peter’s family in Michigan for a few weeks; then to Kelly’s family in Alaska for a few weeks; then to Costa Rica "for some time." He still says that Corday told him that they would not kill Bo off, and that the door is still open for him at Days, but I say here and now —- enough. Either re-cast him or kill him off. But don’t keep him invisible; it’s just ridiculously stupid! And it’s the dead of winter now, damn it ….. maybe it’s time to close the door.
Patti, do you know when Drake will be back? I hope not too long.
And I agree, there definitely has to be more do this or else this was one of them most ridiculous reasons a character has ever left town.
