    I’m not sure, but was John away at rehabilitation from an auto accident, or was it something else?  Did they ever find out who tried to run John over?

    when they ran over Rafe’s sister…you know it had to be a DeMera….that was one of the saddest moments I ever saw on DOOL when John "died" in the hospital bed…I was crying and in shock…still gives me the willies when I think back to that scene.

    his former psycho therapist/psychiatrist, who had a thing for John, tried to inject Marlena with a hypodermic filled with some sort of medication that would paralyze the patient/victim.  However, when she tried to inject Marlena, John shielded her and he was paralyzed instead.  That’s when Marlena took him to Switzerland for treatment and rehab.  I can’t remember what happened to the psycho doctor/therapist, though.  Does anyone recall?

    The psycho doctor was the daughter of one of Marlena’s mentors and she was jealous of Marlena.  The police arrived right after John was injected and she was taken into custody.  Never heard what happened to her after that.
