John and Marlena are not young even by soap standards. Actually I think they are being used about as realistically as possible. I have enjoyed their scenes and them being back on the show. Corday said he was returning romance to the show and I think he has done that.
Remember the quickest way to put a character on the back burner or gone for good is to give them happiness. Happiness means no storyline on a soap.
that two people cheat and are "immediately remorseful". So who are the two people? Sami and EJ? Rafe and Carrie? Technically I guess EJ wouldn’t be cheating on anybody so I’m ruling that one out. Is my logic faulty?

well, i read/heard a spoiler/rumor that carrie is gonna get preggos, and that it’s gonna be a who’s-the-day SL for it. so that might mean that it may be carrie and…rafe?

how many of you married couples go around mooning, and extolling the other one’s virtues, and saying "I love you" as much as these two do, ad nauseum?
And if I hear Marlena tell John one more time that he’s not guilty and couldn’t have done it (with a million paraphrases), I can’t be responsible for any reactions I might have…including extreme peril to my TV set.

Why can’t they let at least one married couple be happy? I swear I’ve never seen anything like it…you’re married, in love, oh look…there’s my wife’s sister. Let me give her a shot, too. Ridiculous
Sami’s fixing of the medical records when she hated Carrie. I do remember that around the time she was with Lucas and going back to Austin.
I remember when Carrie had that false pregnancy then had her appendix out there was some scar tissue or something that might make her getting pregnant harder but then Sami blackmailed Lexie into telling Carrie that she shouldn’t have kids with Austin because of some rare gene each carried that when combined would cause birth defects in their children. That’s why Carrie married Lucas. But of course when the truth came out her and Austin got together.
