to Chloe’s room for the wedding? She just can’t mind her own business at all. I am so sick of Carly butting into others personal business. I just can not like anything that ‘old evil eyes’ does! I wish the writers would quit trying to push her into every story.
I guess some other viewers may really like her, but so far, I have not seen one single positive thing to her credit.

June 15, 2010 at 4:02 am #13652BonoSugaRayParticipantGoody, I so totally agree! I was sort of wondering the same thing when she abruptly entered Chloe’s room. I hate how the writers KEEP writing her into just about every SL…If they (writers) think the fans are suddenly gonna become PRO CARLY fans (by her playing the "good friend" role to Dan), THEY’RE IN FOR A RUDE AWAKENING! Ugh.
June 15, 2010 at 9:06 am #13654SWParticipantpatient’s file on the clipboard? I just assumed, besides story purpose, that she was there to check on her patient since she was one of those that operated on Chloe.
June 15, 2010 at 10:44 am #13657KseeParticipantShe was so likable before when she was on the show, the writers are destroying her character!!!
June 15, 2010 at 11:17 am #13659justwonderingParticipantI have to agree with Chloe. What business is it of Carly? She kept Dan from melanie, so she told the ultimate lie. She also kill her husband. I can’t see how DAn can even be firends with her. I wonder if this is setting up she and Daniel getting together eventually. That way Bo can return to Hope.
June 15, 2010 at 2:40 pm #13662DCola522ParticipantWhat is she doing there?! Yes, Chloe is technically her patient, but she knew all about the "wedding" plans… she couldn’t stay out of the room for 20 minutes? I almost cheered out loud when Chloe called her out on keeping Melanie from Daniel for so long, yet being so adamant that Chloe come clean with Daniel. Regardless of whether or not I agree with what Chloe did, it is between her and Daniel. No one else. GO AWAY CARLY!!
June 15, 2010 at 2:46 pm #13664mommytutuParticipantThis is another character they’ve brought back that is totally unlikeable. I used to like Carly, but I have to agree, she is such a buttinsky that I can’t stand her. She hasn’t done anything on the show that I like and I wish they would just write her off the show. I am also quite tired of Vivian. Doesn’t she have anything better to do than scheme to kill Carly constantly. This is just boring!
June 15, 2010 at 3:29 pm #13670PattiParticipantthis kind of secret in his wife’s closet … sex between his fiance’ and his son-in-law, yet. Then there’s Phillip interfering, as well as Carly, but looking out for his own butt since he knows this will destroy his marriage to Melanie, which I’m convinced she’s waiting to happen anyway. And, let’s not forget Stephanie, who will probably figure it out and add to Chloe’s list of enablers to try and make her keep her big mouth shut and marry Daniel anyway. After all, once Melanie cuts Phillip loose when she finds out, it’s Stephanie WHO???? for Nathan, and I would be okay with that, because Phillip is reminding me more and more of some dirty old man, physically and literally. Mistake or not, Chloe and Phillip should not have jumped each other’s bones on an assumption that their spouses were cheating. Ridiculous reasoning and bad story line from the start. Now, what will really break some stones is if the near-impossible pregnant Chloe comes into play and Carly has to be the one to tell her and Daniel that she’s (Chloe) pregnant. I think I would have to send a personal letter to the writing staff on that one asking them if they would honestly believe that Chloe Lane plunges however many stories down a moving elevator at whatever plunging elevator speed is, lands on whatever floor she landed on, is unconscious, bleeding, and requires immediate brain surgery, but she managed to do no harm to her pregnancy just so we can watch ANOTHER DISGUSTING WHO’S THE DADDY STORYLINE???? Not just bad writing, but bloomin’ frickin’ idiots is what they would then have to be.
June 15, 2010 at 3:40 pm #1367253tdogsParticipantcheating when he finds out about it; he was cheating with Chloe when she was with Lucas (which made Kate loonier <is that a word?> than she already was). And the rest of what you said Patti IS SO TRUE!!!
June 17, 2010 at 4:51 pm #13722imported_JennMParticipantYeah Carly is Chloe’s doctor, but she’s also interfering in Chloe’s personal life and that’s a line that doctors shouldn’t cross.
If I were Chloe I’d ask to have another doctor assigned to her follow-up care, then there would be one less reason for Carly to keep harassing Chloe.
I do sort of agree with Carly though – there is a moral obligation to let Daniel know, but I despise the way it is being written.
Oh and Daniel shouldn’t be surprised. Once a cheater, always a cheater, and if they will cheat *with* you, they will cheat *on* you. So he got what he paid for.

June 17, 2010 at 5:02 pm #1372353tdogsParticipantdoesn’t seem to be doing too much these days unless she’s "holding down the fort" for the rest of the hospital.
If Carly would just go ahead and "rip off the bandage" so to speak and tell Daniel instead of threatening to tell him all the time – I don’t think I’d be so upset with her. Do what you say and mean what you said doesn’t exactly hold true with Carly.
And yes, you are so very correct Jenn, Daniel was the other party with Chloe when she cheated from the get go on Lucas, so it should come as no surprise to him that Chloe cheated on him…unless his ego is to big to think otherwise.
June 18, 2010 at 9:04 pm #13767maryanneParticipantWhy is it Carly’s "moral obligation" to tell Daniel about Chloe? I would never assume the roll of moral police unless it was my own child and I knew something that would hurt her. Daniel slept with her one time many years ago, and she has no connection with Chloe whatsoever. Why is their personal life any of her business?
June 19, 2010 at 4:04 pm #13782imported_JennMParticipantIt’s actually quite a moral dilemma, and worthy of discussing.
I don’t like the way it’s being written, or Carly’s tactics… but the actual dilemma itself is quite thought-provoking.
Say someone you worked with was engaged, and you knew that their fiancée had cheated. Would you do anything? Would you feel like you should, even if you didn’t? It really is a conundrum.
I guess from the days I used to listen to Dr. Laura (Schlessinger) on the radio… she’d say that absolutely the party who is in the dark needed to know, and she’d suggest that the person who did know, should do exactly what Carly is doing – "Either you tell your fiancé, or I will have to."
I’m honestly not sure how I would deal with something like that… I wouldn’t go all "Carly" but I wouldn’t be comfortable knowing something like that was being kept a secret and one person was going into the marriage with something that big hanging over them.
Just sayin’.

June 19, 2010 at 4:17 pm #13785PattiParticipantI think perhaps she should check her own moral compass before she tries to guide anyone else down the path of right and wrong. I don’t disagree that Daniel deserves to know the truth, but it’s not Carly’s place to tell him, it’s Chloe’s. I just hope that when it does come out, Daniel will be able to then put himself in Lucas’ shoes; otherwise he has no right to judge her OR Phillip.
June 19, 2010 at 4:22 pm #13786BonbonParticipantI would definitely NOT say anything. It is none of my business and has nothing to do with me. First of all, they’re not married yet which has some bearing on it. Second, I believe that Chloe is truly sorry for what she did and there was no emotional involvement with Philip nor will there be any temptations with him in the future. Chloe loves Daniel very much, and, had she not had every belief that he was sleeping with Carly, it never would have happened…not that that justifies it, I just don’t see anything good that could come out of Daniel knowing and could totally destroy their future together should he find out. Too much of a chance to take. I’m not God.
Now if it were a close family member (the harmed one, not the harmee), I might reconsider.
