Why is Kate so hell bent on breaking up Chad & Abigail? Yesterday she said something about Abigail being a Horton. Isn’t her own son a Horton? I really wish someone would put her in a coffin for awhile to stop her meddling. Where is Vivian when you need her?
This mus be another one of the crappy stories from the former writers because it totally sucks! Why does Chad have to work for evil Stefano? Why can’t he be his own man? Why does Kate care who Chad is dating? I guess because her own kids are all gone and want nothing to do with her so she has to meddle in someone else’s life. Can’t the writers get this woman a real storyline without the meddling coniving bitchiness that they always give her? If not, writer the character off the show. She has nothing to offer and I’d rather see Kate go than Viv at this point, and I’m no Vivian fan. But Vivian has a story now with Quinn in town, where’s Kate’s story?
why they’ve totally taken her out of her office for that "Hearth & Home" magazine she is supposed to own. That would be a great setting for her like they have done in the past. She’s a barracuda when it comes to business and how she deals with her employees and her business associates. That’s where her bitchiness would be best used…in my opinion.
Even when she is with Stefano, she is only barely tolerable for me. Some characters we love to hate, but with Kate, it’s not even that. A person can be a "bad" character, but still be watchable and still have some redeeming qualities. Not Kate. I’m with you all, I’d rather keep Vivian and let Kate go.
Lauren is a wonderful actress and capable of so much more than being a snooping/meddling mother/stepmother. She hasn’t had a really good story line in a while. Love the actress, can’t stand the way they were writing for her.
has issues that have not been addressed for years now in a good story line. I’m begining to think that DOOL distroys very talented actors by the writing to where we all start hating them because they become one dimensional characterizations, (some almost cartoonish as they did with Louise/Viv) with the same story line over and over again.
